Boy Kill Boy's Suzie really got my attention and was the reason why I bought this CD. Upon the first time listening through CD, I thought it was somewhat bland. But as I listened to it over and over, it got better and better. As my title says, personally I think their music is funky but fun. Most of the tracks are quite catchy, and the changes in melodies are quite unexpected (which is why it's fun). I don't know about the Killer or any other band that many people have been comparing BKB to. I'm talking about BKB and don't want to compare them with anybody else. So to be germane to the subject at hand, I say BKB is good but not great. This one deserves a 3.5
Gotham City has Batman and New York has Spiderman, but what dark hero protects the gritty, future Tokyo? The answer is the Karas, the main characters of this feature-film-length anime of the same name. Blending 2D cell-shaded animation and 3D computer graphics, Karas: The Prophecy finds the delicate balance between the humans of Tokyo and the ghostly beings that inhabit the city in a parallel universe suddenly disrupted. For thousands of years, the peace has been kept by noble beings called the Karas, who strive to make both the dark and light sides live in harmony. Power breeds corruption however, and now Eko, the current Karas -- who once swore to protect the city and maintain the balance there -- has since grown bitter and vengeful. He has granted some malicious poltergeists physical bodies so that he can personally rule the humanity he once served. The incarnate of the city, Yurine, must come to the people's aid and so she creates a new Karas to battle the old one. Two Karas have never existed in the same city before, and as a battle for the fate of humanity ensues, it is certain that only one will remain.

This has got to be one of the best anime I've seen in years. The plot/storyline is very confusing and incoherent during the first view. For the majority of us a second time through the graphically stunning anime will clear things up a bit. One cannot help but be amazed by how gorgeous the 2D/3D blending graphics are. Can't wait till the second part comes out in October!

With fascinating performance, beautiful musical score, and twisted while clever story line, "The prestige" is undeniably one of the best movies. The movie starts out a bit confusing, with numerous names to keep tract of and it does constantly shift back and forth between the present and the past. However, after 15 minutes or so it'll have your full attention and you won't even realize the movie is about to finish in the end. Depends on how much you think during the movie, you'll likely to be pondering or discussing the ending or even backtract through what happened. All in all, a great flick and an awesome addition for all you movie collectors. High recommended!

I liked this CD my first time listened through it. And personally I prefer it over their last album. There's some decent melodic songs while others are somewhat forgettable. All in all a nice addition to your Chevelle collection.
