Fun little addition

It is easy to add on. I actually placed it in an open slot in my receiver...so I just need to select the HDMI port on there. Easy setup, image is great. I wish it would be able to cast a desktop or internet browser image from my Note Pro...but maybe someday.

What's not so great: the fact you cannot cast everything from your tablet

too large too handle - as a tablet

This was a hard one. I bought it at lunch today, very excited, but knowing the size may be an issue. I am 6'4"..so hands do not get much bigger. It was just a little too much to sit and use unless I was at my desk, or table. It is wide...a little heavy after a while free handing it...nothing crazy, but I was surprised. I have an S4, iPad2 32G and the Galaxy Gear watch...so this is not a bash on Samsung. Love em. but when looking to update from my ipad2...it was all I wanted...but more than I can handle when I consider travelling, being in meetings, flying,. As a laptop, or "Surface" like laptop...it excels. But when you consider it as a natural hold and type tablet...it is too much. I will be returning it and likely going to the Note 10.1 2014 edition, rather than the new Tab Pro due to the Stylus...that I love. But for the steep $749.00 price tag...it made the decision easier.

What's not so great: it is just too big to be used as a traditional tablet
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It is REFURBISHED, and that is what I paid for

This unit is a refurb. So I knew it would not be perfect. There are some scuffs, nothing bad or offensive. works great. the setup is so much better, moe intuitive, than my other BluRay player by LG, which I do enjoy. I think at some point, you need to be happy it plays DVD's and plays them well. the bells and whistles are fluff for a fe more bucks. My tv is a Smart TV, so the wifi was for firmware update ease, nothing more.
This was a good purchse where I did not need to break the bank. Shipped fast, and I am happy. this is agreat player, do not worry about the other few previous reviews that are less helpful, and more or less written out of their own frustration or lack of perspective. This is a gret purchase.
