Nice DVD recorder

I have had this unit for about a month now and recorded several TV programs and home videotapes without any problems. Picture quality is excellent! Directions make it easy to chapter, title, and finalize DVD's, to play on other DVD players. Keep in mind, however, that this does NOT have a tuner, so you cannot record one program and watch another at the same time. If your going to be away from home, remember to set the timer, leave your cable or satellite box ON and turn the TV off before you leave. It will record your desired program. Overall, I am very satisfied with this unit.
What's great about it: Easy to use, does what it's supposed to. Worth the price.
What's not so great: Does not have a tuner. Must watch what you are recording.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Enjoy a variety of free-to-air programs with this RCA amplified indoor antenna. Smartboost technology amplifies weak signals so that you can pick up television stations up to 40 miles away from the broadcast tower. Enjoy both UHF and VHF stations without paid television subscriptions with this RCA amplified indoor antenna.

Rabbit ears are better

Hooked this up, adjusted it, and received worse reception than I did with non-amplified rabbit ears. Took back for a refund.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
