This is my second set of these since 2004. My original set were broken in a cross country move so I purchased these to replace the originals. I have used several brands of 2.1 speakers on my computers and have heard most of the others available because I used to do in home computer service. Much of what you hear depends on a 'Good ' sound card. If you don't have a good sound card or at least very good on board sound, then you will hear junk. "Junk in Junk Out".
For this price range these speakers can't be beat if they have a decent sound card, and they will last forever unless you unplug them every day and continually use the controls roughly. They produce good sound but don't expect the sound of $800 computer speakers. Excellent Quality and Great buy!
Even though I have seen more expensive speakers that didn't perform near as well.these. Just Buy'em and enjoy!
