According to how my car is manufactured, this device supposedly tricks the onboard computer into thinking the factory radio is installed instead of an aftermarket deck. That's fine and all, but now I have two sounds when my blinker is on, the door is open, the truck is ajar, etc. One coming from the car itself, the other coming from this device. I'm still not sure why I had to purchase this.

I get the same thing here, when I have my blinkers on it just makes pinging noise here. Now how can I have it not do that here?
