This was a short lived series on Fox way back in my junior high years, and I've always been curious to re-visit it, so when I finally ran across the original run in one set for a great price I figured it was high time to give it a day in court.
It's still an enjoyable little sci-fi series, and well worth a peep if you haven't had a chance to check it out, or worth another look for old fans like myself.

The first and best film in the series, this one manages to touch on the then-current horror film tropes in an amusing way, even touching on other pop culture material of the time. Holds up fairly well on the re-watch.

Gave this a re-watch last night, as well as listening to the commentary. It holds up very well and would likely find itself in my top ten favorite films at this point.
I really loved this film, Robert Downey Jr. continues to impress me playing basically himself in different smart-alecky roles.
There are a few bits that almost get a little too cute for their own good, but the overall experience is a lot of fun and well worth the watch.
Recommended.
