Kubo is yet another adventure by studio Laika, this time telling the story of a young boy with the power to manipulate paper racing against time to collect a mysterious set of armor in order to confront his Immortal grandfather, the Moon King.
The overall story is engaging, but lacks some of the punch left by previous Laika outings such as Coraline and ParaNorman. However, the story's final message more than makes up for its somewhat disjointed narrative, and the small cast help make said message speak great volumes.
Visually, the film is a spectacle to be seen. Once again Laika outdoes themselves with a masterful use of stop-motion and blend it with CG that is almost impossible to distinguish from the handcrafted characters and environments.
The overall package makes for a great family viewing that'll surely please the young and the old.

If you just want a solid action-adventure without as heavy-handed an environmental message, then Nausicaa is a solid choice, as the fantasy setting blends well with the subtle message regarding environmental protection and coexistence with nature. The film's quality is perfectly retained on the superior format, and the improved sound quality will delight entertainment buffs who have extensive sound system setups.

Excellent for stuffy rooms that need a cooldown. The remote is quite useful if you're in bed or are in a hurry to switch the fan off. Only downside I can find is that the lights on higher speeds can be distracting if sleeping in the room with the fan active.
Keep cool while you work with this Insignia~ NS-F9T7-BL table fan, which features 2 fan speeds for simple operation. The nonslip base design keeps the fan securely in place on your desk or table.

I don't know if I happened upon a busted product, but this fan did not work at all for me. Nothing I did would make it work, the strangely shaped plug didn't help matters.

Having played many of the original Doom games back when the series began, I can safely say DOOM 4 (as it pretty much is called by fans) is what everyone had wanted Doom 3 to be years ago; fast-paced and full of unrelenting action. The game doesn't bog you down with a dozen long-winded, prerendered cutscenes, nor does it attempt to wow players with an existential narrative full of melodrama. It's ultra violence and guns galore, and it's only getting better as time passes. Updates have included an option to play the game with the iconic weapon stance (dead center in the middle of the screen, sadly no smirking Doom Marine face, yet), and even more recently an arcade mode to please fans of the bygone era of arcade gallery shooters. There's also considerable easter eggs to be found, in collectibles and secret levels that must be seen to be believed.
The only downside is that tacked on multiplayer, which barely even has the polish of the yearly Call of Duty or Battlefield titles.

Uncharted 4 sees the series come (once again) to an end, for better or worse. Graphically, the game looks quite amazing, as the series is known for its stunning set pieces full of detail, and well-animated characters. Gameplay-wise, it's nothing entirely new for the franchise, beyond a few additions such as Nathan's Just Cause-style swing hook, and a hand-to-hand combat system that feels like an improvement over the clunky combat of the previously final entry, Drake's Deception. The story is pretty much the usual Uncharted affair; a historical legend/secret is uncovered by Nathan and company, leading to epic chases and shootouts. If you liked the previous 3 entries, then you'll be right at home with Thief's End.

Dark Souls 3 sees the conclusion of the of dark-fantasy series that originally began as Demon's Souls on the PS3. Taking a cue from its predecessors (as well as the spinoff/side-game Bloodborne), DS3 is the ultimate culmination of challenge and reward. There is no perma-death, but if you hope to beat the game, patience and skill are key. The controls have not changed beyond some new additions like weapon skills, however the camera can still be quite tricky in small areas as it was in previous Souls games. Furthermore, the beginning level sees a serious step up in difficulty that may catch newcomers and less hardcore players off guard, so be weary when choosing your character's initial class and stats.

The bigger screen and smoother transition between apps really propels the S7 ahead of its predecessors. Sound quality is top-notch, and the battery lasts for quite a while even while jamming to music for hours on end, provided the power-saving mode isn't deactivated, and even then, the phone's battery life is quite admirable as it will only drain when under considerable app usage.

This nifty shield really takes the edge off not having to worry about causing indirect damage to the phone screen, and even allows one to swipe the screen with wet or dirtied fingers without concern. It's smooth, and doesn't obscure the screen in any way, making cleaning much easier to do than on the normal screen itself.
