We just ordered the Ultra Power model in empire red. However I have a cobalt blue Kitchenaid Ultra Power Stand Mixer that I have had for over 20 years . Let me tell you, this is by far, my favorite small appliance and I will use nothing but this exceptional piece of equipment to make my cheesecakes. I have never had any problems with it whatsoever and even after 20+ years, it still runs like it is brand new. I love, love, love this thing. In fact, I love it so much, that I told my husband that when it "dies", I want to bury it in the backyard. Lol. Now it is still in perfect working condition, but the only reason we bought a new one is because we were wanting an "upgrade" to match our color scheme of our kitchen, which is red. Not too mention the fact that the price was way to good to pass up. I highly recommend two things for the mixer. One is the paddle attachment that has the scraper blade on it. The other is the pasta maker attachment. It's a bit pricey, but it's so worth it to be able to make your own pasta. Now, with all that being said, you really owe it to yourself to purchase this stand mixer. It may be pricier than some, but it is worth every penny. Trust me. This is an investment that will last you a lifetime. I speak from experience. :)
