I went into the store set on buying some BOSE $100 speakers. I've had been going and checking those out for a couple weeks prior and today i was sure I was gonna buy them. thanks to an employee, i bought these instead because he was showing we the overall quality of sound and hardware. At the store he plugged in his phone through an AUX cable and he began to play some HipHop music but i wasnt convinced because HIPHOP has a lot of bass and he would crank it up, so I decided I'd plug in my phone and play some Alternative and '80s metal. I tried every other speaker with an AUX cable WITHOUT turning up the SUB and these were the only ones that had a good amount of low end trough the speakers themselves! My purpose for these is for a Home Audio Production Studio, not necessarily as studio monitors but as reference monitors/speakers to listen to the difference between actual studio monitors, Headphones, car speakers, etc. So when I got home I plugged them in and played some August Burns Red and NF both without any SUB first then with SUB and MaGawd am I impressed! The guy at the register also said he has had them for a year and they make his house shake... HE WASN'T LYING!!! On the NF track I cranked the EVERYTHING up just to test it and it shook my room! lol never again will I do that but it was nice to know he wasn't exaggerating. Check out my YT channel JonDoes
