Edges shredding in 1 1/2 years

Fallon apart in 11 months.
Home button, volume button, power cord closure all faulty. Volume button doesn't fit correctly. Power cord door doesn't seal after a few months.
Rubber edges are deteriorating and shredding. Wasn't waterproof any longer than 8 months. Forgot to replace it before the year was up.
My husband works from home and isn't hard on his phone yet it fell apart. GREAT while it lasted. Got a deal from Best Buy or I wouldn't ever get another one.

Was reluctant based on the price however it works well for what we use it for and all they had in stock at the time. Can't tell much of a difference between our $50 cable.

Easier than the hand crank

I was reluctant at first but didn't want to hand crank apples for canning applesauce. I've used apples and potatoes. Works very well. The blade gets clogged but it's very easy to clean. But in also using it for 40+ lbs at a time. Doesn't get as close to the ends as I would like but for the price it's great!
