Blu Ray Of The King & I is the one to own

This review concerns only the quality of the 2014 4-Disc Blu Ray/DVD set and not the content of the film, which is one of Rogers & Hammerstein's greatest musicals. I saw this film at its original release in the 1950s and own VHS copies of it, as well as the 50th Anniversary 2-disc DVD set. This last is very good in standard definition video and Dolby digital sound. However, this recent Blu Ray in HD video and DTS (Digital Theater Sound) audio is the best available transfer for home theater viewing on an HD 16X9 TV. It is simply stunning on my Samsung HD 55" TV. Thank you Best Buy for offering this at an incredibly low price. Highly Recommended.
