Great Cartoon!

Disc 2 of season 1 of avatar. Don't bother buying individual DVDs of each season. Just buy the entire season to save money and wasting space of each DVD case on your DVD rack.
What's great about it: Great Edition to Have
What's not so great: nothing

Great Show!
on July 6, 2009

First of all, I can't bash the show because it's truly an awesome show that is highly addictive and has a compelling storyline. The actors, the writers, and the plot allows everyone to understand and relate to since it is written in modern times.
The thing I will bash is the Blu-ray packaging. The packaging is bulky. The DVD season 1 collection has 5 DVDs. So why does Blu-ray which can have up to 25 or 50 gigs worth of space need 5 discs for 12 episodes that are under an hour long? It should've been 3 Blu-ray discs and not 5. This makes it annoying because there's only 2 or 3 episodes per disc which makes changing each disc an annoying hassle. Don't understand why they did this only because of the packaging since the length of the cover requires 5 disc spread out covers or it'll have to be reduced to a smaller cover if it was a 3 disc set.
The extras aren't that great. The extra where it includes the map of where the characters are at during the duration of the episode is just a stupid method to add something on there which isn't necessary at all. You can tell where they're at since the plot is well written. It's not like it's all secret of where the location of the characters are.
I got this set because of the quality. It was an extra $5 than the DVD collection when it was on sale. It was worth it considering the quality.
What's great about it: The storyline which makes this a well written tv season
What's not so great: The package it came in and the dissapointing discs

Much Better Than Rock Band 1
on March 28, 2009

from Lawrence, KS
Pros: Music selection is much better along with the story line that goes way beyond than Rock Band 1 has to offer. Graphics are much better this time too instead of a dinky DVD quality that you see on Rock Band 1. The customization of clothes and accessories are better but I wished they had more selections since they used some old designs from Rock Band 1.
Cons: Gotta buy a lot of songs to keep this game interesting. Playing the same songs over and over gets boring really fast even if you're playing with friends. The settings for the game to sync all the notes you hit is better than Rock Band 1 but can still be a downer to get the perfect setting.
Overall, it's a great game for anyone who likes to chill or play with a lot of people.
What's great about it: Practically everything
What's not so great: The settings to match every key when you strike the drums or strum the guitar

Good Game for the PS3
on March 28, 2009

Pros: Awesome graphics and arsenal of weapons at your disposal. Storyline is pretty good.
Cons: I hate how in a middle of a game, the connection drops because of bad online connectivity thanks to the Playstation Network. I believe Xbox Live is better when it comes to this. It'll take a while to shoot zombies without eating dinner before you find some people to play with. So it's better to always make friends and ask them to join you to shoot zombies right away instead of waiting for the apocalypse to arrive. Running is harder to use on the PS3 Dual Shock controllers than it is on Xbox controllers but the PS3 controllers have a smoother feel when shooting than Xbox.
Overall, it's a must have especially if you like COD4 but only if you can withstand tanks and bouncing betty kills that most won't appreciate in the beginning.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Playstation Network for online playing & completing all the prestige levels can get tiresome

Not bad for a pink GPS

My girlfriend got this since she doesn't have any sense of direction whatsoever. It's really easy to use for her and the mounting is pretty simple. However, the maps and points of interests should be more updated since it still lags a little in that department. Registration was kind of a pain too but nothing too difficult. Overall, a great tool for those who get easily lost traveling or driving within a big city.
What's great about it: Relatively easy to use and clear with the directions
What's not so great: Doesn't always give you the most updated and accurate routes but can easily be corrected on the direction you're going

I got this game with the PS3 bundle, and this has been far one of the best decisions I have ever made in 2008. This game has incredible graphics and the storyline is jus tplain awesome. It takes a long time to complete but in the end, you'll feel better about yourself when you've experienced a great phenomenon like this.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: The cutscenes are too long especially when you have other things to do

Same controller but just a bit more upgraded
on June 29, 2008
Posted by: thnguyen1215

This controller feels a bit lighter compared to the ps2 dualshock but heavier than the six axis controller. I recommend getting a charge station for it so you don't have to remember to plug in the USB cord to charge it while you're not playing or have an extra controller charged up. It just sucks when you're ready to dish out a few good hours of playtime when your controller dies and you have to sit close to the system because you can only play with the USB cord connected.
What's great about it: Wireless with an internal battery
What's not so great: Shorter battery life

A Must For PS2 Lovers
on June 29, 2008

Nice to have if you want to play your ps2 games on the ps3 for better quality without starting all over. This is a must but if you don't really play a lot of ps2 games, there is an update patch that allows you to save your ps2 files on the ps3 so you don't have to buy a brand new ps2 memory card and this converter.
What's great about it: Stores your ps2 files over
What's not so great: Uses a USB cable to connect but doesn't come with one & can't transfer more than 8MB

GPS USB cable

I lost my Magellan GPS USB cable. Can I use my camera usb cable (it mechanically fits) or are the usb cables all different?
Tony
I think it should work. I used my ps3 cable to hook up Garmin's Nuvi 205 to my laptop to download updates.
