I bought this primarily as a portrait lens and to upgrade from my kit lens. This lens is amazing in sharpness, color and contrast . After using this lens it's difficult to go back to anything less than "L" glass. Keep in mind this lens does NOT have Image stabilization. To avoid camera shake at long focal lengths use a shutter speed of 1/250 or higher.
My Best Buy number: 2712578044
What's great about it: Sharpness, color, contrast, great price, build quality
What's not so great: Highly addictive, you will want to replace all your lenes to "L".

I use this camera for my photography business. Solid build quality, nice features, a good alternative to the 5D if you are on a budget. Just remember it's not a full frame sensor. The 28mm-135mm kit lens produces decent quality images. If you want top quality images invest in the " L" class lenses. overall I'm very happy with this camera.
What's great about it: Pro Camera features without the price. Solid build quality.
