GREAT headphones

These are the best sounding headphones I've ever owned. Before these, I used the B*se quiet comfort, for years. Those were good, but the Beats Studio makes those sound like toys.

If I had to use one word, it would be Balanced. Low end is great. Kick drums really come through, but not muddy at all volumes. Mid and highs punch through too. I'm noticing things in old favorites that I never could hear before.

I realize a lot of the price is due to the name, but, at least these deliver where it counts - sound quality. The noise cancelling is very good too. No pressure on the eardrums feeling, like the quiet comfort.

I don't listen to hip-hop. I mainly am in to bands like Dream Theater, Zappa, Yes, older Rush, or any bands that a music snob would listen too. I'm probably not the demographic they had in mind, but it fits the bill. When I first plugged them in, I knew I made the right decision.
