Amazing and touching

One of the best movies made that year, an amazing true story that does America and our soldiers proud by telling the story of one of our fallen heroes. I can watch this movie over and over, every time feeling both pride and anguish...this movie is about the heart and soul of our country and I believe should be viewed by every American...maybe even to be played in history class in schools.
What's great about it: Everything
What's not so great: Nothing
I would recommend this to a friend!

Davy Crockett: King Of The Wild Frontier/River Pirates
This set contains two of the Disney Davy Crockett adventures that featured Fess Parker as the coonskin cap wearing American hero. Davy Crockett, King of the Wild Frontier and Davy Crockett and the River Pirates were both directed by Norman Foster and feature such escapades as our hero disarming a bear with just a smile and surviving some dangerous natural environments during a boat trip to New Orleans.

A great American tale turned into a Disney classic...a clean and fun movie for the whole family to enjoy.
What's great about it: A fun and typical Disney perspective on a great American hero
What's not so great: nothing

I have seen this on HBO and am planning on buying it when the video comes out. I have also bought the book. I love the way it captures the influence of every state and man in our countries birth and the influence of Abigail Adams on her husband. If you have not seen it, then you must buy it...I would even recomend it for American history classes in school.
What's great about it: detailed and accurate
What's not so great: a little short on the early years
I would recommend this to a friend!
