Neal Israel's martial arts action comedy Surf Ninjas comes to DVD with a pair of transfers. The widescreen anamorphic transfer preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.85:1, and is preferable to the standard full-frame image. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Surround. English subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials include the trailer, an interactive game, and extra features for those with access to a DVD-ROM drive. This is a solid release from New Line.

Like an Arnold Shiwortsinhienjer movie, you will walk away with some great qoutes. The martial arts is very entertaining, although I noticed a similarity between Donatelo's (first TMNT movie) fighting and Johnny's fighting. Hmm. They must have trained under the same Sen Sei. Also if you look closely Johnny and his brother don't really look like their related since the younger one looks more caucasion, but Johnny and the Old Master Guide Dude, Zatch, look oddly alike. The one thing I remember saying back in 93, when I was 17, was "Hu was that girl? She's ga-ga!" She could have been a Miss Teen USA or something, she's so pretty!

I know cheese but hey the movie is great, I give it a high five while hanging ten, Dude. I must go wax my board again, now. Go Rob Schneider! You Half Rock!
What's great about it: Martial Arts and one of the cutest girls of the era and still is.
What's not so great: Cheese comedy and Rob Shinieder, J/K Rob your half great
I would recommend this to a friend!

My all time fav

This movie/story/book has got to be one of my all time favs. To me its comfort food for the soul. My wife hates it though because I can watch it over and over, which I have. Sometimes I watch it to help me sleep. It puts me in a happy place and I seem to wake up refreshed and chipper. I can't wait to have kids so that I can share this movie/story/book with them. There's a Special Princess Edition of Princess Bride. Don't know if there is anything special about it, but my wife won't let me get it just yet.

If you like this one I also recommend Oscar with Sly Stalone. 5 yrs ago I had a hard time finding it on DVD and it was a rare find on VHS. Well some how I ended up with 3 copies on VHS which I have passed on and got it on DVD the first time I saw it online. It's a must see.
What's great about it: Pirates, Giants, Sword fighting, Intellect, Great Cast
What's not so great: Inconcievably none
I would recommend this to a friend!
