It is the second sequel to Stargate SG-1, after Stargate The Ark of Truth. The movie includes scenes filmed at the US Navy's Applied Physics Laboratory Ice Station in the Arctic, 200 nautical miles north of Prudhoe Bay, Alaska. These scenes will feature Richard Dean Anderson, Amanda Tapping and Ben Browder. The scenes also feature the USS Alexandria. Baal travels back in time and prevents the Stargate program from being started. SG-1 must somehow restore history.
