2 - Don't think I'll go for a 3rd.

I am a review junkie and when I read the reviews on this hoover, I was excited to purchase it. I paid $159 and thought that it would be well worth the money. I did buy a 2 year warranty through BB for another $20. I got home, and shampoo'd my living room. I thought it was good. My favorite thing, the carpet dried SO fast. I tried many different cleaning solutions in it to see which I liked best, and still love my Bissell pet one (smells so good). I did find I had to go over things a lot more with this machine than with a regular shampooer, but, I was fine with that for the price. Until I went to use it the 2nd time a couple of weeks later to do a bedroom. The suction would not work. I tried everything ... it just wouldn't work. So went back to Best Buy and I was within my 30 days so they just exchanged it out. I thought surely that I just happened to get a dud. I got home, put the new one together... and the brushes don't work! Really??? So, this is today and I already have the box in my van and about to load this one up. I really don't think I should even try for a 3rd even though it's said that "3rd times a charm". I think I'll go rent a rug doctor on the way home!
What's great about it: Carpet dries quickly
What's not so great: One lost suction, and then bristles don't work. Wasting my time!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
