On the Line arrives on DVD with a heavy slate of bonus materials that's sure to please *NSYNC fans. Presented in anamorphic widescreen 1.85:1 and Dolby Digital 5.1 (a plus for the plump pop soundtrack), the disc gives sneak peeks of Spy Kids, Iron Monkey, Texas Rangers, She's All That, and Get Over It, as well as the aforementioned soundtrack. First up under bonus material is a feature commentary with director Eric Bross and starring actress Emmanuelle Chriqui. A behind-the-scenes featurette and cast interviews give fans a closer look at Lance Bass and Joey Fatone in their feature film debuts. Also included is a storyboard comparison, outtakes (disappointingly unfunny), five deleted or alternate scenes with commentary, the theatrical trailer, *NSYNC bios, and "Home Movies From the Set," which is actually a videotape filmed by Bross of several cast and crew members en route to an *NSYNC concert, where their movie trailer will be shown for the first time. Of course, executive producer Bass couldn't possibly put together a DVD without including a music video ("On the Line" features the All Stars -- Bass, Fatone, BBMak, Mandy Moore, Vitamin C, and Ritchie Sambora) and a making the music video segment.
