Poor construction and amazingly inflexible

I purchased this to make videos while cycling. The two most critical contact points, where the leg connects to the tripod and the legs themselves are connected with plastic. Couple that with the fact the legs are extremely inflexible, and the unit is easily broken. I have a larger Joby Gorillapod unit and should have stuck with my gut and purchased another smaller version. The quick release is indeed a very nice feature. In two uses a leg as broken off due to the plastic coupling at the top of the leg and one of the feet, again connected with plastic broke as well. My advice, go with another brand.
What's great about it: quick release
What's not so great: poor quality construction
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
