Great movies and nice set

All three movies in this trilogy are fantastic and the picture quality and video quality of these on blu-ray is stunning. This set is nice and the book it includes is semi-interesting.
I would recommend this to a friend!

When a new sergeant, James, takes over a highly trained bomb disposal team amidst violent conflict, he surprises his two subordinates, Sanborn and Eldridge by recklessly plunging them into a deadly game of urban combat. As the men struggle to control their wild new leader, the city explodes into chaos, and James' true character reveals itself in a way that will change each man forever.

Fantastic audio/video quality

I really enjoyed this movie. It's a hard-hitting story that gives the audience an idea of what it might really be like to be part of the war on terrorism. Sounds amazing on my 5.1 system. First 20 minutes of the movie shook the house!

Director Peter Weir's high-seas adventure Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World stars Russell Crowe as Captain Jack Aubrey. Along with his loyal crew, Aubrey engages in a grand game of cat-and-mouse with a renegade French frigate from Napoleon's army. Adapted from the series of novels by Patrick O'Brian, the film is presented on DVD in widescreen with a wealth of audio options. Not only can viewers choose either DTS 5.1 Surround Sound or Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound versions of the original English soundtrack, there are also Dolby Digital 5.1 tracks dubbed in French and Spanish. Along with English and Spanish subtitles, the disc is rounded out by a handful of theatrical trailers. Fans interested in additional supplemental features should check out the two-disc edition that was released simultaneously with this disc. A full-screen version is also available.

As someone with a 5.1 home theater set up I am always looking for blu-rays that will "show off" what the system can do. This movie serves that purpose. I wasn't a huge fan of the plot though.
What's great about it: Audio quality is amazing
What's not so great: Plot is hit or miss

The future begins with director J.J. Abrams' reimagining of Star Trek that has taken audiences by storm. When the Romulan Nero comes from the future to take revenge on the Federation, the new recruits of the U.S.S. Awesome movie that looks/sounds great in HD

This is a very entertaining movie. I had not seen any of the older Star Trek TV shows/movies before watching this and I still found it to be very enjoyable. The effects are great and it's a beautiful movie to watch and listen to. Definitely shows off the blu-ray format.

Classic movie transferred well to blu-ray

This is a movie I would consider to be a must-have for any blu-ray collection. It's a great example of how the technology has evolved and how they can take 40+ year old material and make it look great again.

What's not so great: Effects are a bit dated and plot is strange
