One of those films that immediately grabs you by it's sense of humor and story. The characters are all finely tuned and it's almost impossible to not find yourself among one of the characters. This film surprised me many times and also the screenplay was very interesting.
Robin Williams delivers his 'finest hour' (USA TODAY) in 'one of the most absorbing, effective thrillers in years' (NBC-TV). Sy 'the photo guy' Parrish (Williams) has lovingly developed photos for the Yorkin family since their son was a baby. But as the Yorkins' lives become fuller, Sy's only seems lonelier, until he eventually believes he's part of their family. When 'Uncle' Sy's picture-perfect fantasy collides with an ugly dose of reality, what happens next 'has the spine-tingling elements of the best psychological thrillers!' (THE NEW YORK OBSERVER)

Creepy and disturbing, this is one of the late Robin Williams' finest, yet understated roles. A must-see for any fan of psychological thrillers and/or of the great Mr. Williams.

Jack Lemon and Tony Curtis are absolutely hilarious in their roles as Professor Fate and The Great Leslie. Natalie Wood and Peter Falk are equally delightful in their supporting roles as a reporter and Professor Fate's not-very-bright henchman. One of the other pleasures this movie offers is spotting all the movie and TV stars in small roles.

I thought this movie was hilarious! I didn't go in with high expectations. I mean, really how far can you take a storyline about a 40 something year old entering a spelling bee? I was greatly surprised at the depth of the story and was laughing the entire movie. For someone that acts completely unlikable, you really start to accept the main character and realize his motives.
This wistful and whimsical nostalgia follows Kevin Arnold (Fred Savage), a 12-year-old boy coming of age in the late 1960sand early '70s, and chronicles his relationships with family, friends and especially the winsome Winnie next door.

This is one of my favorite shows and I'm so happy it's finally available on DVD! The Wonder Years has to be the best family comedy/drama ever made. Middle school & high school high jinx and heartbreaks, so truthfully presented. This is the one show I can recall that I could actually relate to.
Gene Wilder, Cleavon Little, Madeline Kahn, Harvey Korman. Villagers must defend their small town from a group of mercenaries in this sidesplitting send-up that pokes fun at nearly every Western ever filmed. Directed by Mel Brooks and sub-titled a Psycho-Comedy. 1974/color/94 min/PG.

This is a hilarious spoof of several Hitchcock films. The film wouldn't be as funny, if you hadn't seen some ofHhitchcock's films, including Psycho, the Birds, or Vertigo.

Blue Jasmine is an outstanding homage to the 1947 Pulitzer prize winning play, "A Streetcar Named Desire" by Tennessee Williams. Allen pulls from our recent history (Bernie Madoff et. al.) and crafts a chillingly plausible retelling of this classic story.

It's an experience. If you love the topic of physics, cosmology and find yourself typically mesmerized what humans have achieved today in our attempts to get out of our pretty planet and reach the stars, you will love this movie. It shows in a crude fashion how inhospitable it can be out there, how lonely we seem to be in the universe, it's loaded with joy, hope, despair, sacrifice.
