If you want to just blow S**t up

Red Faction Guerrilla is a game that takes place on Mars. You take the role of Mason, a man who seeks revenge for the death of his brother. The storyline is a little bland and the characters are cliche. This is not a game you should play for the story. RFG is a game you play for how fun it is to be able to break anything in the game (except for the ground on Mars). If you get this game I HIGHLY recommend playing the online multiplayer mode. Playing online is a great twist to the kind of multiplayer action you're used to.
The worst part of the game is that you'd find yourself not caring to much for the environment in single player. After a while, the buildings look the same. That said, being able to destroy whatever you want is a load of fun!
What's great about it: You can destroy anything
What's not so great: Bland, forgettable environments

I am not going to spoil anything but I really had no idea what I was getting myself into. The minute i first played, my mind was blown away.
After the beginning of the game you're off to do pretty much whatever you want. There are 3 giant cities you can explore if youd like.
The graphics are great, the voice acting is great, even the smaller things like being able to see cutscenes from different angles makes for a good time. This game is well worth the money and it will keep you busy for a very long time!
What's great about it: GIGANTIC open ended world, hundreds of things to do
What's not so great: the ending will have you scratching your head

Right off the bat this cd explodes with energy you can only get from Motion City Sundtrack. The use of all their instruments provide a superb listening experience.
If you've already had the pleasure of hearing the last 2 albums then you know what to expect(more great MCS). If you haven't, then I recommend picking up their previous album "Commit This To Memory".
It was difficult to compare this album to the last. The last one had more songs that stood out but this one has more of a solid feel to it. Nothing stands out but everything is really good. Song number 5 lacks in comparison to the rest of the tracks on this album.
What's great about it: Explosive rock with the real lyrics you'd expect from MCS
What's not so great: Calling all cops (track 5)

Bayside has come a long way while keeping themselves away from the radiowaves. I respect a band who can make and write good music and not push it towards the radio stations. Too much popularity can be catastrophic.
Right off the bat this cd caught my attention. I like the use of guitars and the lyrics feel more real and less poppy than most music nowadays.
Not quite emo or punk or rock. It's a little of each without being to much like any of them.
Songs 1,2,3 and 9 stand out for me.
What's great about it: Overall great.. not one weak link in the album

A step away from the norm

This album feels like a double edge sword to me. It provides a fresh sound for the killers. That sound isn't nessesarily great. It isn't bad. It just isn't great.
Having Lou Reed on the opening song was a big surprise. Not to many youngsters know who he is but those who do respect what he has done for music. I feel the album really shines in the first and last few songs.
This isn't a sing-along album as much as their last two. That is what is driving a lot of their fans away.
What's great about it: completely new sound
What's not so great: completely new sound
