Brace yourself for a new set of tricks, tracks and ways to race. The included Wii Wheel transforms your Wii Remote into a steering wheel that feels great in your hands, while the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller supply a classic control style for veterans of this racing series. Either way, you'll be able to perform impressive speed-boosting tricks, such as jumps, flips and wheelies. You can zip through brand-new tracks and arenas, and also tour classic courses from Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart DS. There are even options for trying all-new motorbikes that have their own special tricks and techniques. The action gets fast, furious and funny when you race in Mario Kart Wii.

More fun than ever!

I used to play the GameCube version, but the Wii version is better. No more feeling like your thumb is going to fall off thanks to steering with the Wii-mote. Lots of folks have noted that the wheel itself is superfluous -- it's easy enough to play with just the Wii-mote. But I think the wheel is kind of fun, and the drag it provides may be the only way I'll ever get close to steering one of those unwieldy motorbikes in the game.
This game is great because you can play a whole cup in 15 minutes or less, so it's a nice break from work, or you can binge for hours and never get bored.
What's great about it: Just like driving!
What's not so great: None

I got a KitchenAid mixer last holiday, and I soon begged for this accessory afterwards. It's fabulous! Put the bowl in the freezer, pop in the ingredients, and mix mix mix until it gets more solid. It's a nice dual use for the mixer and the bowl isn't so huge that it takes up the whole freezer.
What's great about it: Makes good ice cream
What's not so great: Need a KitchenAid mixer
I would recommend this to a friend!
