I was able to get it working on Windows 7 Beta. Now that I have upgraded to Windows 7 RC1, it will not work at all. Tried Hauppauge's newest drivers, newest WinTV 7 software. When it was working, it worked very well. I have worked in IT Support roles for 10 years, so I do understand how to get one of these working. I know...Windows 7 is still in beta and RC releases. But, there are other tuners that work fine in Windows 7. The newest drivers are dated in March, 2009 and do not work with Windows 7. These drivers should work. Also, The Media Center support page for Hauppauge lists Windows 7 as supported. It is not supported, as Media Center will not detect the USB device. I would recommend this if it worked.
What's great about it: Great Quality Video (when it worked), Good Performance, USB
What's not so great: WinTV 7 (newest version) does not work with Windows 7. Media Center does not detect the device.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
