Finishes Ori Storyline

I have been a pretty avid Stargate fan for a while. And if you are buying this then you at least have probably seen the end of SG-1. Well this movie picks up where season 11 would have if the show had not been canceled. It finishes the Ori storyline within our galaxy. Basically here's a quick summation. Daniel Jackson finds a weapon developed by an ancient on a planet. The weapon itself isn't destructive, it's just a weapon that reveals the truth of the universe to anyone who sees it. They find the weapon but can't activate it without the code, and every attempt to fight the Ori in our galaxy is being thwarted by Vala's daughter whom has now ascended to become the only Ori god left. And because she's the only one left, she gets all the power. Once we have an idea of how to attack, the team is kidnapped and we are helped out by an ancient, Morgan LeFay, that speaks to Dr. Jackson. At the end is a quick but none the less all out Ascended on Ascended battle between Morgan LeFay and Adria. We find out the code for the weapon and use it on an Ori Doci (Because all their staves are linked together telepathically, so we can hit them all at once.) and we of course win. The movie overall isn't too bad, and definitely a must have if you are collecting the series on DVD or Blu-ray. I will say this, there is one beautifully done shot of Teal'c walking towards the Ori HQ like Moses with a staff that looks both nice and funny. As usual the Digital Matte Paintings and Visual Effects are just a notch above what's in the show. I will say definitely worth a 4 out of 5.
I would recommend this to a friend!
