AmericanGamer41's Reviews

The camera's rolling. The lights are blasting down from all directions. You've only got one chance to get this right and prove you're the right actor for this movie. Your co-star finishes his line and all eyes turn to you. With a deep breath, you begin your performance. Gesturing with your hands, turning your head thoughtfully to the side, delivering every line with gusto, you're pretty sure you nailed it. You smile timidly, awaiting your critique. It's tough to be a movie star, but someone has to do it. Why not you?In the interactive phenomenon, Yoostar 2: In the Movies, use the Kinect sensor to project yourself right into your favorite movie and TV scenes. With 50 scenes to choose from, you can perform in current hits, including The Hangover, Tropic Thunder, Meet the Fockers and 300, or try your talent in modern and all-time classics, including The Godfather, Rocky, Casablanca and The Wizard of Oz. If the small-screened world of television is more your style, act out scenes from popular TV shows, including Star Trek, Mad Men, and CSI. Your performance is scored on accuracy and overall performance, allowing for improvisation that draws on your creativity. A variety of modes offer single- and two-player challenges that you can share with friends and the Yoostar 2 community as you try to prove you've got the stuff to make it in Hollywood.

Fun with Too Many Glitches
on March 17, 2011

I have played many of the scenes in single player and sometimes the regular actor's voice would echo; causing you to get a very low score. The videos are very grainy and sometimes have glitches in them. Single player has been sometimes frustrating to play due to all the problems already mentioned. Your score is greatly affected when these occur.
On a positive note it is a lot of fun when working properly. I only gave 2 stars because as often as I played the game, the glitches were more prominent than a clean scene.
What's great about it: Fun when working properly
What's not so great: Full of Glitches

Poor Offering this time around.

I loved the first and second offerings of Scene It. However this was a rushed game. Lets get your money and sock it to you. No effort was put into this game at all.
The trivia is ok, but the themes were driven to some other realm! They should have been ashamed to put out this product(game) out and take peoples hard earned money; especially in these hard times, economically.
As stated, no online or use of Avatars is a big bummer as well. Although the game suffers many problems that should have been tested first.
What's great about it: Not much!
What's not so great: The first two were great and set a high standard, this title is junk.

Best Boxing Game
on June 27, 2009

For the most part Fight Night Round 4 is just an all around great boxing title. Many have tried and failed, yet EA Sports continues to show that they know the sport of boxing. If you liked the other Fight Nights, you are sure to love this title.
However with UFC Undisputed 2009 being a great title as well, many may want to go with it because of the kicking and grappling. However Fight Night Round 4 can hold its own just as well. Boxing fans will want to go with this title for many reasons.
I did find the controls a bit clumsy, yet haven't tried to customize them. Not even sure at this point if they are customizable. Brilliant graphics and physics; although some of the slo-mo action is a little over-exagerated. Just can't say enough good about this game. Very Nice Job EA for making a great game!!!
What's great about it: True Boxing Physics, Graphics are Great, and Career(Legendary) is Fun,
What's not so great: Somewhat clumsy button schematics.

This game has beautiful graphics and great gameplay. It was devoloped primarily for adult gamers, however attracts younger gamers with the many hip hop and rap stations.
One of the best titles i've seen in a long time, this game has many mini games within it as well. Also a title that has many hours of replay ability.
Have Fun!!!
