Overall a decent radar detector with decent range and sensitivity. There are some false signals that occur due to the increased sensitivity. You will need to adjust your driving habits, but I've have no situations where the radar location was not detected with some warning.
What's great about it: Ease of use, improved range
What's not so great: A little pricey, more dimmer setting would be nice

Currently the only readily available Windows 8 laptop with a dedicated graphics card. Able to play Guild Wars 2 (after you switch the graphics to use the amd) without any real problems. If you use the Intel based graphics, it is playable but choppy. I'm not sure I would choose this laptop if there were alternatives (with a touch screen#. If you are going Windows 8, you really want a touch screen as it is a much more intuitive input method. If you are not interested in the possibility of gaming with the laptop, you may want to look at something lighter with better battery life. Also the spacebar can be a little squeaky #not just noisy, actually squeaking) which takes away from the build quality.
That said, it is a decent laptop. If you are looking for a portable gaming laptop and want to experience windows 8, I would recommend this. If you can wait for other competitors to surface, you may, but at this time I haven't found any alternatives.
What's great about it: Only currently available touchscreen win 8 laptop w/ dedicated graphics
What's not so great: Keyboard detracts from build quality, can be squeaky, battery life is only so-so
