As your data needs increase... so does your backup needs! Nice to have finally broken the 4TB in a consumer model external drive. USB 3.0 is a standard, nothing super special about this drive. It looks sleek, performs well, does what it's supposed to.

Connect your laptop with an HDMI output to a VGA-enabled monitor or projector with the Insignia HDMI-to-VGA adapter for reliable transfer of signals up to 1920 x 1080 @60Hz. Product does not convert VGA sources (computers) to HDMI (TV input), it only converts HDMI sources (computers) to VGA displays.

Build quality seems to be fine... the product does what it's supposed to do. Converts an HDMI output to a VGA. There is an "optional" USB power cable that might be needed on lower powered HDMI - I didn't need it, and am not sure when it might be needed?

SSD, do it... you won't regret it!

If you're still struggling with an OLD technology Hard Drive, do yourself a HUGE favor and upgrade to SSD! You will not believe how your machine will fly! This drive is a great price. I purchased 2, one for my desktop and one for my laptop. Installation was a snap. I would give it 5 starts but they don't include a "drive transfer" / data copy tool. (Acronis, etc.)
