well. here we go again... pending massive profit on a mediocre title.. this will be literally the same as previous entries into the series.. except for new songs of course.. if you played guitar hero aerosmith.. get ready for the same lackluster content.. short clips of the band.. etc...definitely woth renting but thats about it.. you will beat it in 1-2 days...
What's great about it: metallica.addictive gameplay. double bass pedal?
What's not so great: price. lacking set list.guitar hero aerosmith deja vu

this game has lived up to the hype so far.. such a massive game is so impressive words really do not give justice... this is a must buy. the graphics are beautiful, the gameplay is fun.. good pace.. some may be turned off by the complicated start of the game.. its not linear and some may not be willing to invest the time it can take to get going.. there are hints of oblivion but these are merely subtle and it does not feel at all like its predecessor.. there is sooo much dialogue.. you can tell some work went into this masterpiece! choose your own path! the weapons are sweet, a new targeting system allows you to pick where you want to inflict damage.. that part doesnt get old.. pick up the strategy guide to get started out strong
What's great about it: graphics, gameplay, story, weapons
What's not so great: may be overwhelming to casual gaming crowd, 1 player

Amid the post-war boom of Hollywood's Golden Age, newly minted detective Cole Phelps is thrown headfirst into a city drowning in violence and corruption. Utilizing groundbreaking new technology that captures an actor's facial performance in astonishing detail, L.A. Noire is a violent crime thriller that blends breathtaking action with true detective work to deliver an unprecedented interactive experience. Interrogate witnesses, search for clues and chase down suspects as you struggle to find the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.Against an overarching plot of violence and betrayal, L.A. Noire challenges players to solve a series of self-contained cases as they work their way through the ranks of the LAPD. Each case features a distinct storyline with a beginning, middle and end, and each successfully solved case brings new challenges and leads Cole closer to the true story at the dark heart of the Los Angeles criminal underworld.

Very disappointed! Way too slow paced!

I have been looking forward to this game since last year and was counting down the days until I can feel the excitement of working as an LA detective back in the 40s. Let me just tell you right off the bat that I wasnt expecting this to be a 40s version of GTA or Red Dead Redemption but with it still being an Open World game, I thought it would have some similarities. The first few missions were really fun and I was so stunned by the amazing graphics and how cool it was collecting all the clues. After about a half hour, I got bored so quick. The gameplay was soooooo slow and even just 15 minutes in, it was feeling repetitive. The concept was cool but I mean seriously, how much fun is it playing for hours where all you do is walk around, look for clues, ask witnesses questions, find more clues, ask more questions, solve case, then go to the next case where...guess what...its finding more clues, asking questions, blah blah blah.
The game isnt really challenging either. Dossnt make you really think at all other than just finding right info by process of elimination.
Incase your wondering what you cant do as compared to other Rockstar games, You cant just kill anyone. Cant even pull out your gun unless someone pulls one on you. Cant even run over pedestrians in car, If you crash into someone, nothing happens, and no multiplayer.
All in all, If you like action and atleast some action, DO NOT buy this game. If you wanna really mellow experience and love just solving crimes, then maybe its for you.

nobody should miss this game, if you have problems paying attention or suffer from medical conditions such as adhd or if you have to be constantly shooting at people then may want to pass though :)

Can I exchange Project Gotham Racing 4?

I bought the messenger kit that came with a new headset, chatpad, 12 months of xbox live gold, and a new game of Project Gotham Racing 4. I already redeemed the code for the Live and I am using the headset and chatpad. I have NOT opened the game yet. I don't want to play PGR4 and I was wondering, can I exchange it for a different game?
i dont think so.. ur only option is to trade in the game for store credit in which you recieve close to nothing or sell it on ebay.. i think brand new the game is already cheap.. you should keep it!
