Great Balance of Price, Design and Security!

Simplisafe - Protect Home Security System installation is quick and easy. It took less than 30 mins to install the base, control pad, motion sensor and entry alarms for all doors / windows. It came 4 entry alarms, base, control pad and motion sensor. The design of the base is really good and size of the sensors are great as well. I was able to rename the values by specific location in keypad so that it can be identified which is open or close. It came with cellular connection and was able to connect the home Wi-Fi without any issues. In case of power cut, it will keep monitoring your home for additional 24 hours.
The monthly monitoring fees with no contracts starts at $14.95 and $24.95. Even though you have option of running a standalone home security system without monitoring, 24/7 Alarm Monitoring for $14.99, 24/7 Alarm Monitoring and APP support for mobile for $24.99.
I will be ordering additional door sensors and cameras to expand my home security.
It is perfect product for those who don't have existing pre-wired for home security system. Simplisafe provided products to satisfy those user needs with competitive pricing to enable home security.

Sony - SRS-XB31 Portable Bluetooth Speaker came with nice package. It came with speaker and charging cable. The design is very unique and well built. Setup is quick and easy. I was able to connect using Bluetooth and NFC options without any issues. It has full size USB port along with audio port. I was amazed with sound quality and clarity after playing a song from my iPhone. The color changing LED lights are really cool while playing songs. The bass is really good as well from this speaker.
Battery life is really solid and came around 24 hours. It took around 5 hours to charge fully. I was playing a song with full sound and fill the entire living room with great sound quality. The ability to connect more than 100 speakers is a great feature and it will help to place speakers in each room.
I have installed the SONY Music control and it has tons of features to control music. The call quality is great with this Bluetooth speaker. SONY built a very solid Bluetooth speaker with better sound quality with bass. The price is reasonable as well. My kids are using this speaker very regularly due to the color lights and party mode.
SONY always make better products in TVs, Cameras and they have entered in audio space with quality products like SRS-XB31 Bluetooth speakers

Outstanding AC Extender. Excellent Performance!

Linksys RE9000 extender setup is quick and easy. I have configured with my Netgear CM7800 Modem / Router combo. This extender will work with any router. It is easy to configure using WPS button from your router or you can configure using browser setup. It is recommended to put the extender within best Wi-Fi coverage to extend further inside the house. I have used the same SSID instead of different SSID. I wanted to connect certain devices like Home monitoring system in second floor. This extender helped to achieve the same without any issues.
The performance of this extender is outstanding. I have two story house and router is sitting in first floor living room. I had weak signals in second floor rooms. I have placed this extender in second floor and now i am getting full speed of 300+ Mbps in speedtest.net in second floor.
This extender is compatible with most 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi routers / gateways to extend your existing network's range and create a stronger signal in hard-to-reach areas. With MU-MIMO technology, we are able to connect more than 25+ devices and no more slow down on internet. Device / Privacy protection is number one requirement for many users. As we are moving more into internet things, it is important that all our smart home devices are protected at most. Download the Bitdefender App either in iOS or Android and login with existing account or create a new account. It can be configured either with existing modem and act as router or it will work as bridge mode with existing modem / router. Once it is connected to the network, it will scan all connected devices within the network. It will provide information about ongoing events and will help to prevent security breaches. Setup is very easy for Sony - WI-SP500 Wireless In-Ear Headphones and able to pair with phone very quickly using bluetooth. The audio / call quality is really great. The neck band fits perfectly while doing exercise.
Battery is really good and it lasts for eight hours as advertised with standby mode of 200 hours. Setup can be done using bluetooth or NFC. The convenient earpiece based button and microphone perfect for hands-free calling. These headphones have open-type drivers and it will allow you enjoy the music while remaining aware of the surroundings.
It supports bluetooth 4.2 interface which enables simple wireless pairing with your phone / tablets. It has IPX4 rating and will allow do enjoy the music during workouts. It comes with carrying holder as well.

4K media player with limited features

Setup is quick and easy for AirTV - 8 GB 4K Streaming Media Player With Adapter. I already have an HD antenna and able to configure OTA channels quickly after logged in with my google account. The on screen setup instructions were super easy and all setup can be done in less than 10 mins.
AirTV box scans and shows more channels and picture quality is outstanding. It has 2 USB ports, 1 digital audio out, 1 Ethernet port and 1 HDMI port. I have done the setup with HDMI cable with my receiver and able to get surround sound.
There are limited apps as of now and Hulu / Netflix are available to use. I was able to watch CBS, FOX, NBC and other channels with highest quality. The remote is easy to use and slightly bigger than regular remotes. The interface is very clean and loading very fast. It came with 50$ credit for Sling TV and i was able to apply the credit with my existing account without any issues.
It has parental controls as well ability to record shows using Sling DVR option. I watched Netflix 4K content and picture quality great due to 4K capability in this box.
Even though there are limited apps now on AirTV Player, it has lot of potential to add more features with firmware updates.

Malwarebytes 3.0 is a must have software for PC. setup is quick and easy. It will install the latest version to protect your computer from malware and fake sites. By default, all options were enabled to protect PC at most.
I did a scan for entire PC and found out that there were some infected files which was never found by Windows Protection. It deleted all infected files and PC is running much faster than before.
Malwarebytes anti-malware defense protect your PC and online experience. It will intercept and block exploits that use bugs in popular programs to compromise your computer. Expensive Ceiling Light

Philips - Hue White Ambiance Being Dimmable LED Smart Flush mount - Aluminum is a great addition to Philips Hue family for the people who are already into Home Automation with locks, lights, security etc. Please make sure that you have Philips Hue Bridge. This light won't work without the bridge.
Since i already have Philips BR30 and A19 bulbs throughout the house, there is no issue to install and configure this light. Installation is quick and easy if you are familiar with wiring at home. The instructions in the guide could have better. It took me close to 50 mins. If you are not comfortable to install the light yourself, please hire some electrician and they can do it for you. After the installation of the light, i was able to add this light into my existing bridge within 5 mins. This light produces enough light for room. Please note that it is ambiance light and it may not fill the entire room if the room is larger.
The design is great and it looks very beautiful on the ceiling. I was able to control using Siri, Google Home and Alexa without any issues. It is a great light with many features and it is a good addition to existing Philips hue family.
It is going be a very difficult decision to invest around 250$ including bridge when ceiling LEDs are selling less than 40$.

I bought this router to replace my perfectly working Asus RT-66R model. I wanted to change my router just to get bit more range in my new 2200sqft home. Prior to getting this router I have tried one of the best range extender Ampedwireless AE-20. It’s range was excellent, but connection was very much degraded and struggled to get connected at times though it was set up to clone settings from original router.
So, after reading few positive reviews on BBY and mixed reviews on amazon, I decided to give new Nighthawk R8000 a try. I am happy with its slightly improved range than Asus and very much disappointed with its 2.4Ghz performance. I have more than 15 years of network experience and I really don’t bother tech support unless until it is really out of my hand and hardware specific.
Here I am trying to do a fair comparison with two routers I have (Asus & Netgear) + sign means “better” and – signs means “poor”
Wired Connection:

At this point I called customer service and it sounded like they kind of aware of the issue. With minimal trouble shooting and changing the channels to their recommended channels (01, 06, 09 & 11), there was no improvement. So they asked me to degrade from 600Mpbs to 289Mbps and it started working.
So technically now their claim of 3200Mbps became 2911Mbps.
Access Control:
+ RT-66R has fairly good access control capabilities. You can schedule what time of the day each device can access the internet. This feature is important for me as I found it is very useful with kids on top of parental control settings.

- R8000 access control only let you allow or deny connecting a particular device. You cannot decide what time it should be able to connect. – Major drawback for me.

- RT-66R has poor parental control settings, but with an option to point DNS to OpenDNS we can achieve better parental control settings with their FREE offerings.
+R8000 – also use OpenDNS but with dedicated service assigned to netgear so that you can add bypass account also which can’t be done with OpenDNS free account. This is the only additional benefit I found with this router so far compared to RT-66R.
VPN:

CONCLUSION:
I have thoroughly tested all important feature that I need. Rest of the features are generic to me and I am not bothered much about them.
I am sure this router with Dual 5.0Ghz network will be very useful for those who have new wireless devices. For me I have a lot of devices that depends on 2.4Ghz frequency such as smoke detectors, thermostat, laptop that connects to NAS for backup etc. and degraded and unreliable 2.4Ghz network make it absolutely worthless considering the amount I spent on this router.
I am seriously thinking to take this back to the store. I don’t see any point in spending almost double amount of money to get a couple of benefits and a lot of drawbacks and pay for a premium to get their phone support if needed to an overpriced product.
I would not recommend this router at its current price and it is unable to meet its original claims and comes with a premium phone support after 90 days.

Please reach out to Netgear Support. I had similar issue in my home (2800 square feet) during the setup and Support asked me to change settings in Router page and now i am getting superior coverage in 2.4 and 5 Ghz for all 17 connected devices.

There are not much Android tablets with premium specs in the market compare to Apple iPad, but Samsung is not ready to give up the fight with the release of high-end Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with significantly updated specs, HDR screen and improved S Pen support. It is equally positioned with iPad Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 screen has a 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 Super AMOLED display with support of HDR content and it matches the iPad Pro 9.7 in size and resolution. Samsung Tab S3's screen size and resolution have not changed with pixel density of 264 pixels per inch. It has Super AMOLED display, for brighter, richer colors. The main upgrade over the Tab S2 is HDR content support. There is not a huge amount of HDR content yet, but once there is this it will be really helpful with Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Another big change for this model is that there's no 8.0-inch option, Tab S3 only coming in a 9.7-inch size.
Tab S3 has metal and glass build with similar size to Tab S2. Samsung upgraded the design for the Galaxy Tab S3, replacing the soft plastic back of the Tab S2 with a glass one, but retaining the metal frame. The overall appearance like an oversized Samsung Galaxy S7.
While cameras are never the highlight of a tablet, Samsung Tab S3 came with 13MP back side camera and 5MP front facing camera with LED flash. It does include an autofocus and can record 4K video at 30fps.Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 came with 6,000mAh one and it can last up to 12 hours of video playback. I have used more than 10 hours without any issues. It supports fast charging via USB Type-C, so you shouldn't be waiting too long.
Tab S3 runs the latest major version of Android 7.0 overlaid with Samsung's own interface. It came with quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 only comes in one size - 32GB, but it also has a microSD card slot with support for cards of up to 256GB if you need more storage for apps and games.

It is one of the best android tablet with premium features and equally matching iPad Pro. It worked really well with Samsung Book Cover Keyboard for accurate and comfort typing.

Hi Malack,
Apps can be downloaded from Google Play or Samsung Store. If you are looking for side loading apps from 3rd party, you can do that as well. It is similar like S2 with upgraded features.

I currently have the Netgear NightHawk router. Will this be better than that, and should I get rid of that one?
Yes. It is much better than X6 or X8. I am getting 300+ mbps in all over the places in my house.

Can you use with comcast.
Yes. It will work with any ISPs. You just need to connect router with your modem and during setup it will identify the satellite as well.
