Good all around trimmer from Philips

I am using grooming kits for a long time. Phillips Norelco Multigroom 7400 is good electric razor. It is small, slim and very light design. It is easy to hold and use it in hand.
After the unboxing and charging it, I have used to trim the dry hair and noticed that it trimmed all hairs in first cut. It is very quieter than the ones I have used before. There are eight attachments which will handle any trimming job. I tired while taking shower for trimming the sideburn. It is working better than dry trimming.

Excellent Photo / Video Editing Software by Adobe

Adobe Photoshop elements 15 & premiere elements 15 box came with Windows and Mac installation CDs. The installation failed for the first time with some unknown error in Windows 10 64 Bit operating system. After system restart, the installation went smoothly for both software. The overall installation took 20 mins.

A software download for those who do not have a DVD drive in your computer. Please visit www.adobe.come/go/elements-esd for instructions to download and install your software.
During the installation, you need to provide the Abode ID and keys to register. Adobe Photoshop Elements home screen shows three options Photo Editor, Organizer and Video Editor. I have imported the entire photos collection which has more than 25000+ photos. It took a while (15 mins) to import entire photo collection.
I am really impressed with editing features on this software. I was able to edit photos and videos very easily adding light, color, balance, sharpen and exposure. I have listed down the new features in Adobe Photoshop elements & premiere elements 15

Google Home is useless with its current form

Google Home setup is very easy which is similar to chromecast setup. Install Google Home app in iOS or Android device and whole setup can be done in less than 5 mins. I was able to configure Nest Thermostats easily to control the room temperatures from Google Home.
Googledesigned the Home to integrate with the rest of the connected products (currently very few devices likes Net, Philips Hue and Samsung Hub) in your home. It is looks like a small device and easy to put this anywhere in your home kitchen, bedroom, living room, etc.
On top of the Home is a touch-sensitive panel, which can be used to control the device volume, play and pause music, and activate its listening mode. There are colorful lights embedded in the panel that come to life whenever the Home hears its wake word or is responding to a command. Top panel has two far-field microphones, which let the Home hear voice commands from across a room.
The Home become active with a wake word, which is either the familiar to Android users 'OK Google' or the easier to say 'Hey Google.' This always-listening feature is what makes the Home so useful. There is also a mute button on the back of the device that turns off the listening feature entirely.
The bottom half of the Home has one speaker with two passive radiators. It designed the speaker to get loud enough to fill a room without distorting at full volume. It has loud output and sound quality is better to an average Bluetooth speaker. Home is integrated to work with Google Play Music, YouTube Music, Spotify and Pandora. Google is offering 6 Months Free YouTube Red music subscription. Also, you can wirelessly cast audio from your phone or laptop to the Home. It is disappointing that it does not have Bluetooth connectivity like Amazon Echo.
A simple "Hey Google, what is the weather tomorrow?" will fire up the weather information right away. Also, you can adjust the volume, temperature, Philips hue lights with voice commands. If you want more volume or better sound, the Home can send its audio to a Chromecast Audio connected speaker, by just saying "Hey Google, play this on Chromecast Audio." You can also group multiple Home units together and play music though all of them simultaneously.
The data from Home does send back to Google and stored with all of the other data in your Google account which can be reviewed at myactivity.google.com. The single account limitation also makes it very difficult to use the Home in a family setting.
With the current state, Google home is not great and effective and it might be useful when we have more integrated devices to work with Home in future.

Best Cordless Vacuum from Bissell

Excellent packaging design. Vacuum was easy to assemble. I've used the vacuum for few days and I am very impressed with the results. Removing Dirt is very easy.
I owned heavy and high end vacuums and this vacuum design has been improved, especially with dirt removal. The low profile makes it easy to get under beds, sofas and furniture. Now, Vacuuming has become very easy and fun at home during weekends. My wife love it! I use it for both hard surfaces and carpeting.
The Air Ram performance exceeded my expectations! Very easy to put together, charges quickly and last long, easy debris removal, compact, light, does its job!
It has great suction power. We have a large dog and this vacuum picks up dog hair and dirt similar like my larger Bissell vacuum. The cordless is so light weight and easy to handle.
We are pleased with vacuum results and definitely recommend to anyone who wants simple and elegant design.

Excellent Subwoofer from Bose with Amazing Bass

Bose Acoustimass 300 Subwoofer is excellent subwoofer and it is exceeded my expectation when it paired with Bose Soundtouch 300 sound bar.
The packing was excellent and unpacking was very pleasant. I am impressed by the design of this subwoofer, weighing in at nearly 40 pounds and with the dimensions of a small table. The premium glass-top smooth exterior look stunning.
Setup is very easy and able to configure with Bose Soundtouch 300 sound bar. Just follow the instructions given in manual and you should be sync the subwoofer with sound bar less than two minutes.
As for as the bass itself, it can only be described as clear and powerful. Similar like Bose Soundtouch 300 sound bar, the audio feels as if it is coming from all around you instead of from a single point. This is due to “quietport” technology from Bose. The
Adding Acoustimass 300 module to your SoundTouch 300 soundbar is a perfect combination for your home theater experience. You can add Virtually Invisible 300 wireless surround speakers can complete the package for a full 5.1 surround sound experience. Similar like Acoustimass Subwoofer module, these wireless surround speakers have a wireless range of 30 feet. They stand less than 4" high and blend nicely into your room.
This is the best subwoofer made by Bose. I highly recommend this subwoofer to get premium sound quality and theater sound experience for your home theater setup.

Amazing Sound. Beautiful Soundbar from Bose.

Bose Soundtouch 300 sound bar is very sleek and well designed with tempered glass. At 10.8 x 97.8 x 5.7 cm, it is perfect size matched with the larger TV (55” above). Its finish is stunning, with a glass topping that combined with the rich black color, just make sure not to leave too many fingerprints.
The packing was excellent with all necessary accessories needed for sound bar setup. I was able to configure Bluetooth and NFC less than 5 minutes with my Galaxy S7 Edge. I played some songs from Plex Music collection using Bluetooth. Wow.. I am amazed with sound quality and it is equally good with my high end floor standing speakers.
In the backside of the sound bar, you will find number of connectivity ports. There is one HDMI ARC port available to connect your TV with ARC port to output sound via HDMI. Another option is to connect the soundbar via HDMI passthrough.
The universal remote comes along with this sound bar feels extremely nice in hand with soft touch buttons. The instructions were given in manual if you would like to configure other devices using Bose Universal remote. If you have existing universal remote, you can easily configure this sound bar instead of using Bose Universal remote.
This sound bar is very slim and looking beautiful beneath my TV. Bose has done excellent job bringing astonishing sound in a small sound bar. There are LED indicators on the front to show the different inputs. It comes with calibration headset included in the box and it is called ADAPTIQ. I would recommend to configure the sound bar using ADAPTIQ headset to get optimal sound quality based on room conditions.
Bose Soundtouch 300 produces excellent quality sound and you can hear every detail of the music. If you’d prefer to add dedicated rear speakers to the setup, I would recommend Bose Virtually Invisible 300 wireless speakers sold separately. If you want more bass from the Soundtouch 300, then Bose has an additional subwoofer Acoustimass 300, which is also sold separately.
WiFi can be used to upgrade the soundbar using Bose own Soundtouch app for iOS and Android. From the app, you can configure and play music streaming services like Amazon Music, Sirius, Spotify, Pandora, and I Heart Radio. There are options to add music library from NAS and PC. I was able to configure the music library from NAS and it works flawlessly.
My only issue is manual has very limited instructions and it will be very hard for some users who has limited knowledge on setting up home theater systems. It could have been better to have detailed instructions for each type of setup.
I highly recommend this Bose Soundbar 300 to anyone who wants rich sound with detail. It is slightly expensive, but you won’t be disappointed after hearing the sound from this beautiful sound bar.

Best Wired / Wireless Headphones with Hi-Res Audio

These are best headphones I have ever owned with both wired and wireless options.
I connected these wirelessly to my iPad Air & my android phone and they worked flawlessly. Setup is quick and easy with Bluetooth or NFC. I was streaming audio from Spotify, Plex, and even watched several movies wearing these. Unlike other products this headphones have very balanced sound. While the traditional bass is there, it is very obvious they are providing a much cleaner sound now.
I can use these headphones wired or wireless, which means I get the versatility of wireless but can still use them on an airplane or office. The carrying case is solid that will protect the headphones really well.
I have owned headphones, wired and wireless, from multiple companies including SONY. These have replaced by SONY MDR 1000X headphones as my go-to for noise cancellation.
I was skeptical to buy these after buying and returning a pair of the high end headphones from other companies. This is best wireless noise cancelling headphone made by SONY and well worth every dime of the purchase.

Best Router for Fast, Secure, Whole Home WiFi

Most of us struggled with bad Wi-Fi, dead spots at home. It is really hard to find a router even if it is expensive and powerful one, that can cover every room in your house with fast and more importantly reliable wireless. Netgear’s new Orbi router has dedicated Wi-Fi satellites that evenly distribute fast wireless over a dedicated network.
The setup is very simple. Router and Satellite up and running less than 5 mins. It consists of two units. There is one main router which always connected to your modem. The second unit called "Satellite" which you to place somewhere "central" in your home.
With innovative design and look, you can leave Satellite device anywhere on your house. The traditional wifi extenders slow down wifi speed. However, Orbi Satellite connected with router on dedicated network which provide high speed in wifi throughout the house including backyard.
If your house is larger you can add multiple Orbi satellites, all of which communicate over that network to spread signal further. Since it is operating over a dedicated third band, it doesn’t slow down the speed of the router’s main 5GHz and 2.4GHz channels. There should not be any dead spots, as long as you have enough satellites installed, and moving between satellites is seamless.
My house is 2766 square foot with 2 stories. With previous high end router with same price of orbi, i used to get good speed if the devices are closer to router. I usually get only 60 mbps on 5Ghz on 2nd floor with my previous router. However, with orbi i am getting close 300+ mbps in second floor and backyard.
Also, the another main feature is one SSID instead of two SSIDs for both 2.4 and 5Ghz and orbi is intelligent to find the best signal when you move around the house. I have replaced my existing high end router / extender wit Orbi Router / Satellite and almost 17+ devices are connected as of now.

Excellent Upright Pet Vacuum

We have tried most of the vacuum brands and there were certain things we didn't like about it. Bought the Pet Hair Eraser® Upright Vacuum and using it for two weeks. It outperforms other vacuums by far. With the other vacuums the brushes were always getting filed with hair from our dog and my wife / daughter's long hair, and we always had to reach inside the canister to pull out debris. In Pet Hair Eraser, nothing on the brush and the canister empties out perfectly. It makes our carpet look beautiful when we are done. We can't say enough good about this vacuum. I bought this router to replace my perfectly working Asus RT-66R model. I wanted to change my router just to get bit more range in my new 2200sqft home. Prior to getting this router I have tried one of the best range extender Ampedwireless AE-20. It’s range was excellent, but connection was very much degraded and struggled to get connected at times though it was set up to clone settings from original router.
So, after reading few positive reviews on BBY and mixed reviews on amazon, I decided to give new Nighthawk R8000 a try. I am happy with its slightly improved range than Asus and very much disappointed with its 2.4Ghz performance. I have more than 15 years of network experience and I really don’t bother tech support unless until it is really out of my hand and hardware specific.
Here I am trying to do a fair comparison with two routers I have (Asus & Netgear) + sign means “better” and – signs means “poor”
Wired Connection:

At this point I called customer service and it sounded like they kind of aware of the issue. With minimal trouble shooting and changing the channels to their recommended channels (01, 06, 09 & 11), there was no improvement. So they asked me to degrade from 600Mpbs to 289Mbps and it started working.
So technically now their claim of 3200Mbps became 2911Mbps.
Access Control:
+ RT-66R has fairly good access control capabilities. You can schedule what time of the day each device can access the internet. This feature is important for me as I found it is very useful with kids on top of parental control settings.

- R8000 access control only let you allow or deny connecting a particular device. You cannot decide what time it should be able to connect. – Major drawback for me.
Parental Control:
- RT-66R has poor parental control settings, but with an option to point DNS to OpenDNS we can achieve better parental control settings with their FREE offerings.
+R8000 – also use OpenDNS but with dedicated service assigned to netgear so that you can add bypass account also which can’t be done with OpenDNS free account. This is the only additional benefit I found with this router so far compared to RT-66R.
VPN:
+ RT-66R is also able to use OpenVPN with mobile access with their free App. I was abe to access local network using iOS and Android devices with no issues.

+R8000 – very useful feature if you have your router in bedroom or other place you don’t like lot of flashing lights. Can be accessed via web GUI and with a dedicated hard button at the rear of the router.
USB Storage and Cloud access:
+RT-66R allow you to create a personal cloud with your router with AiCloud application. I am able to enjoy my music and movies over AiCloud on the move.

- R8000 – could not find any documentation about cloud access. Only information I found is about ReadyCloud and it is dedicated to Netgear NAS only. Another major setback for an expensive router.
Web GUI:
Though Netgear has a simple interface and easy to follow GUI, it lack modern look and feeling. I like Asus GUI better.

Customer service:
+ Asus- Never had to call them. No subscription fee, 24/7 free support (as far as you are within product warranty).

- Netgear – Though I received prompt customer service when I called, it was shocking to learn that the phone support is only available for 90 days of purchase, then you have to pay PREMIUM subscription to get phone support.
CONCLUSION:
I have thoroughly tested all important feature that I need. Rest of the features are generic to me and I am not bothered much about them.
I am sure this router with Dual 5.0Ghz network will be very useful for those who have new wireless devices. For me I have a lot of devices that depends on 2.4Ghz frequency such as smoke detectors, thermostat, laptop that connects to NAS for backup etc. and degraded and unreliable 2.4Ghz network make it absolutely worthless considering the amount I spent on this router.
I am seriously thinking to take this back to the store. I don’t see any point in spending almost double amount of money to get a couple of benefits and a lot of drawbacks and pay for a premium to get their phone support if needed to an overpriced product.
I would not recommend this router at its current price and it is unable to meet its original claims and comes with a premium phone support after 90 days.

Please reach out to Netgear Support. I had similar issue in my home (2800 square feet) during the setup and Support asked me to change settings in Router page and now i am getting superior coverage in 2.4 and 5 Ghz for all 17 connected devices.

There are not much Android tablets with premium specs in the market compare to Apple iPad, but Samsung is not ready to give up the fight with the release of high-end Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with significantly updated specs, HDR screen and improved S Pen support. It is equally positioned with iPad Pro.
Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 screen has a 9.7-inch 1536 x 2048 Super AMOLED display with support of HDR content and it matches the iPad Pro 9.7 in size and resolution. Samsung Tab S3's screen size and resolution have not changed with pixel density of 264 pixels per inch. It has Super AMOLED display, for brighter, richer colors. The main upgrade over the Tab S2 is HDR content support. There is not a huge amount of HDR content yet, but once there is this it will be really helpful with Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Another big change for this model is that there's no 8.0-inch option, Tab S3 only coming in a 9.7-inch size.
Tab S3 has metal and glass build with similar size to Tab S2. Samsung upgraded the design for the Galaxy Tab S3, replacing the soft plastic back of the Tab S2 with a glass one, but retaining the metal frame. The overall appearance like an oversized Samsung Galaxy S7.
While cameras are never the highlight of a tablet, Samsung Tab S3 came with 13MP back side camera and 5MP front facing camera with LED flash. It does include an autofocus and can record 4K video at 30fps.Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 came with 6,000mAh one and it can last up to 12 hours of video playback. I have used more than 10 hours without any issues. It supports fast charging via USB Type-C, so you shouldn't be waiting too long.
Tab S3 runs the latest major version of Android 7.0 overlaid with Samsung's own interface. It came with quad-core Snapdragon 820 chipset and 4GB of RAM. The Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 only comes in one size - 32GB, but it also has a microSD card slot with support for cards of up to 256GB if you need more storage for apps and games.
Beyond the core specifications, Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 is packed full of features, including support for Samsung's S Pen stylus. It is one of the best android tablet with premium features and equally matching iPad Pro. It worked really well with Samsung Book Cover Keyboard for accurate and comfort typing.

Apps can be downloaded from Google Play or Samsung Store. If you are looking for side loading apps from 3rd party, you can do that as well. It is similar like S2 with upgraded features.

Yes. It is much better than X6 or X8. I am getting 300+ mbps in all over the places in my house.

Can you use with comcast.
Yes. It will work with any ISPs. You just need to connect router with your modem and during setup it will identify the satellite as well.
