Les Paul doesn't work

It's pointless to buy the game for PS3 if you can't play any of the guitar parts. The GHIII Les Paul controller is not recognized by Rock Band. I foolishly bought the game assuming that the controller would work. Now I have to wait until the Fender Strat comes out. I don't want to take it back because the song list is far better than GHIII. THIS IS A MAJOR DISAPOINTMENT!!!!
What's great about it: Great song list and graphics
What's not so great: You can't play any of the guitar parts.
I would recommend this to a friend!
