My MacBook fell and the screen went Fractal. I bought this monitor connector and can now use my MacBook as a Desktop Computer. It took some time to connect because I was looking at a laptop broken screen. Once I fished around for the monitor prefs, I then could see the external monitor. Works great.
What's great about it: Allows me to connect my Laptop to an external monitor
What's not so great: Can't find any negatives, works great

Easy set up. Installation guides you through the process. The hardest part of creating a strong password and trying to type it again. But that like most computer setups. I was also able to use my older model Airport to extend my network and use my older computer PC and Mac by using ethernet cable to connect with.
