Almost a good slider

Phone size:Just right
I loved this phone for the first 6 months. The slide out keyboard is awesome. After 6 months my battery will only last about 7 hours in phone idle standby mode. After charging the phone and letting it sit without a single phone call, text, web search or any use of any kind the battery is exhausted after 7 hours. The phone indicates that phone idle is using 80% of the battery resource in that time. To make things worse the battery is not user replaceble. As a side note the photos from the phone are complete trash.
What's great about it: Slide out keyboard
What's not so great: Terrible battery and photos.

Wow. Super sharp bag of lenses killer.

I have debated in agony about putting down 1K plus on this lens. I wish I would not have waited so long. It is a fantastic upgrade to my kit lens 18-105 VR. After taking 8000 pictures on my D7000 I realized I was using the wide portion of the kit lens only about 1% of the time. So this lens made more sense to me than the 18-200 DX version. Especially seeing a FX body in my future. This lens is super sharp. I can count the eyelashes on my subjects at any of the focal lengths and wide open apertures. It is very slightly soft at 28mm f/3.5 but sharpens a lot at 28mm f8. All focal lengths over 50mm are super sharp at any aperture.
What's great about it: Super Sharp
What's not so great: Over a grand most of the time and hard to find.
I would recommend this to a friend!

This lense does what it is suppose to...give decent hand held images at long focal lengths. It does have VR2 technology built in and therefore makes some noise when using it. I use this lense on my D7000 without any problems with field of view or weight. The included picture was taken hand held at 300mm focal length. Cropped down to size for easy transfer.
What's great about it: Great images using long focal lengths hand held.
What's not so great: Cheap construction. What do you expect from low price Nikon lense?

This game should not even have Halo in the Title

This may be a cool game to some. However, it is NOT Halo-like. You go around and earn points to buy stuff for your armored suit. You can fly with a jet pack and have a holo-clone of yourself. Bungie should have renamed the game and left the word Halo out. At least Best Buy gave me a $20 gift card. I became bored and shut the game off before yawning myself to sleep.
What's great about it: $20 gift card from BB
What's not so great: This is NOT a Halo-like game.

Wow. Affordable "wireless" rear speaker setup

This set up is NOT for those who think they are going to carry around and put their rear surround speakers in any place they want like a cordless phone. This is NOT a true wireless setup. No such thing exist for rear channel 5.1 surround setups. This setup is for those want to get rid of the wires stuck underneath carpet or along the side of walls to speakers in the back of their living "theater" rooms. You will have wires from your rear speakers to the transmitter and the transmitter requires power from an ac outlet. My set up for the last 5 years has been speaker wire running along the baseboard and carpet to the rear speakers in the back that are sitting on top of a buffet. Now the eye soars are gone. I was going to get the $250 Bose wireless setup until I found out I had to get a $700 to $3000 Bose system for the wireless setup to work. The $100 Rocketfish work great. I cannot tell the difference in my 5.1 surround sound system from my old wired setup. And NO they do not interfere with my wireless network. I am a very happy camper.
What's great about it: Easy setup, sounds good, great price compared to Bose
What's not so great: They didn't come out with this years ago

Another Halo Game!
By DJKalee from Battle Creek, MI
Alright to start I have been a huge fan of the franchise since well Marathon - the original Halo. The Campaign is great there's quite a few challenging mission. The graphics are up to par with Halo 3 and ODST.
There are the standard Halo glitches, I flipped a Warthog and couldn't get my team to get back in. I think the campaign is very interesting, but it's definently the same old Halo.
They've made a lot of great changes to Multiplayer. I will say that was the reason I bought the game was for XBox Live. I was addicted to Halo 3 Multiplayer for about a year after it's release.
I really like what they've done with the point system. There's lots of cool features to unlock. This will be addicting to the true Halo fans.
Since I have been playing COD games. After a good year of Modern Warfare 2, I was disappointed with Halo: Reach everything seems really slow. I would not reccomend for any Veteran COD Multiplayer Gamer.

do i buy a monior or a tv for my computer screen ?

do i buy a monitor or a tv for my computer screen ?
This all depends on how far you are sitting from the display. If you are only a 12 to 15 inches from the display I would get a high quality monitor. If you sit further back I would get the larger TV display for less. There is no TV I am aware of or can afford that will give me the resolution of a regular monitor.

What is better lcd or plasma

looking for a new tv, confused as to get plasma or lcd. Whats the difference and which is sharper / better
I always preferred LCD due to reflections off plasma screens. However, it appears from my recent returns quality has gone down on LCD panels. Too many bad pixels becoming standard on LCD's. It has got to the point where people think it is acceptable to get a multiple thousand dollar TV with a few bad pixels. I have had three LCD TV's within the last month with bad pixels. I am going to start looking at plasmas. Do a web search on LCD and bad pixels.
