Either though this review is based off the beta version recently released on Xbox Live there is a lot of the game that shows what to expect on this fight night. Let me start off buying to the fans of Fight Night: Round 3 to get ready for a whole new feel in Round 4. To start off I will get into the controls. The joysticks are still in use, so button smashers beware, Yet to flow of the controls will take time to get into. You can hit both high and low on this version, vs having to duck to hit the stomach on Round 3. The counter system is different as well. Which no more throwing punches out of the way and getting haymakers so easily. The dodging system is taken out of this version of the game all together but rest easy because there is still a counter system. When you actually make a counter it will indicate your success by the whole screen flashing. There is still a weave motion and a new push off feature that gives your boxer a chance to get out of the corner. This version of Fight Night not only moves smoother but it also moves faster that Round 3. Me personally I love this new speed I felt that at times the game just moved to slow. One thing that was a disappointment to me was the healing system of the fighter along with the addition to the heath/stamina bars. The healing system is based of points gathered in the round. Yet it is broken down into the health/stamina system. For example you earn 30 points in the round and it is time to heal your fighter. It cost about 20 points to heal the damage, which does not heal all the way with the 20 points in use. Afterwards it there really isn't anything you can use with the 10 points left but stamina regain. But the system is based off stamina, damage, and overall life. Also the life regains as the round to along buy either not swinging and backing away or pushing off when getting tired and are to close to the fighter. You Also notice a difference in power in the range of fighting. Your boxer tends to not hit as hard when he has to either fully extend or is too close, which the announcers will indicate. Overall I did like my experience of the new Fight Night: Round 4. It is harder to knock your foe down and the upgrade in the graphics make the game look and feel more realistic. Based of the beta I do plan to purchase this version of Fight Night...
What's great about it: Upgrade on graphics, real announcers, smoother gameplay, addition to classic Mike Tyson
What's not so great: Complex controls, health meter, healing your boxer between rounds

A very strong GTA title

Welcome back to Liberty City GTA fans and welcome Niko Bellic. A Russian immigrant that is running away from his past, or is it because he is trying to find someone, or possibly his cousin Roman talked him into moving (I will leave that open to not spoil the game). Starting off I noticed the difference in the controls mechanics of the game. I little adjustment from the older versions but takes little to no time to get use to. I also noticed the difference in driving, controls as well as speed is a factor of the vehicle that you choose. Feeling more simulated in this version I find it to be a great add to this version. With the upgrade to the graphics it gave the new and improved Liberty City a real gritty humid feel to the game.
I found that the size of the city as a bit much to handle at first but with the beauty of being able to call a cab it very helpful when you need to navigate through the city. I noticed a lack of labeling the map on this version of GTA (unlike the previous games which everything accessible was labeled). But calling up Roman or other friends, dates etc. you will find that the map will light up with locations.
With the deep and detailed storyline and dialog you may find it easy to get sucked into Niko's world. But one thing I have always loved about the GTA series is the humor they add to the game. Take a few minutes away from the game and watch tv, or listen to citizen's phone calls, etc. You will find out that there are a lot of hidden surprises that will have you laughing from time to time. I do hear of issues of the game freezing up which forces the player to loose there current status. I personally have not experience this issue but can say hopefully Rockstar send a patch for download to stop that problem.
While game play with the weapons are great I find it hard to get use to the hand to hand combat. there is a bit of lag between throwing punches and setting up combos but may not effect the gamer that likes to use weapons instead of hand to hand combat. But with the intense law enforcement added to GTA IV you may find that breaking the law and adding stars may get very frustrating. But with achievements like like three minutes with a four star rating that should give you a warning about messing with the police.
I do strongly recommend this game to adults but give this message to parents planning on buying this for the little ones. Pay close attention to the game and what the seller is telling you about it and read the reasons for the M rating. With it's strong language and content you may not want your children exposed to this much. I still recommend the game over all but of you feel that this may do more than just be a game to your child than stand clear of this title.
What's great about it: Improved law enforcement, Controls, Graphics, Storyline
What's not so great: Size of the city, Hand to hand combat, Map legend

Dr. Aiden Krone is a former professor of Applied Physics at MIT, notorious for his unrivaled brilliance and obsession with Thermodynamics, Advanced Propulsion and Quantum Electrodynamics (QED). Despite his increasing tendencies to demand control and secrecy, he became the founder and lead physicist of a classified Time Travel research program. Over a decade later, Krone's program had successfully developed the world's first time-traveling suit technology. However, as the program's equally secretive decision-makers demanded this technology be adapted for military applications, Krone's feelings of self-entitlement and anger grew. He secretly desired a new existence, a new world where his scientific endeavors could be shaped and experienced without outside interference. The combination of Krone's mind and his suit technology gave him the ability to create and control another existence ~ an existence where a man of science could finally operate without restrictions and do so within a place where science itself was properly respected ~ regardless of the effects on humanity. It is now up to you to trace Krone's last known appearances and stop his tyrannical rule over Alpha District. In a twisted world where scientific accomplishments reign, it's up to you to don the Beta Suit and master time to become the ultimate weapon.

The graphics to Timeshift is something else. I love the fact that the enviroment can be completly destroyed. The time shift effect is pretty cool and also the gameplay moves pretty smooth as well. At times though the game has too much going and and it get's hard to see what you are doing. Also you will find yourself bored of doing the same thing over and over throughout the game.. The story I cannot say much about but for a shooter but I can see Timeshift getting like a 7 or 8...

Cooking Mama is a very fun game that can keep you playing for a while. The only thing is that without friends to play with the game can come up a little short. The quest mode is great but nothing beats the challange of others trying to out cook you...

At first when I played Oblivion I did not get what was going on. There is so much in the game that you always lose the main plot of the game. I've seen people that put more than 700 hours of gameplay into Oblivion and still have plenty of time to put into the game. I started the game again and i cannot get enough of it. There is so much to do it seems like forever untill you beat everything there is to offer. I recommend this game because it will keep you entertained and also takes a very long time to beat. I had to give the PS3 version some hits due to not adding new features and also the graphics are not great at all.

Yes Stranglehold seemed like a great game but to many tweeks that turned the attraction away. I give most of my rating due to graphics alone. The slow motion "Tequila time" seemed to turn in and out even with your back turned to enemies. The enviroments was probably the most impressive of all the gameplay (I would also add the action but even than I find myself getting bored shooting over and over with a poor story pretty boring).

Still a great game but downgraded graphics

Finally a strong multiplayer for the PS3. I would recommend this game as a must have for the console. Sure GRAW has the stronger single player story. But RSV delivers with the online multiplayer. Smooth gameplay, Great graphics (which looks better in HD) and plenty of modes to enjoy for a long time. The only thing that RSV lacks is inviting a guests online for more gameplay.

should i get a ps3 if i already have a 360?
-is it worth the money?
-is it more fun than the 360?
and please state other opinions on the matter of why i should or should not
To tell the truth it is all personal preference. Myself I love the Xbox 360 over any of my other consoles, current or in the past. I also own the Nintendo Wii and I do not touch it at all really. You really have to ask yourself why and what will you be getting out of purchasing the PS3. I have had this same question and I ran through the pros and cons of the console vs my 360. My deal breaker went all the way down to the online offered by the consoles. I believe you get what you pay for and The Xbox Live verses the Playstation Network there was no comparison. So to tell the truth it is all up to your personal preference of the consoles. Hopefully this helps...
