Brace yourself for a new set of tricks, tracks and ways to race. The included Wii Wheel transforms your Wii Remote into a steering wheel that feels great in your hands, while the Wii Remote and Nunchuk controller supply a classic control style for veterans of this racing series. Either way, you'll be able to perform impressive speed-boosting tricks, such as jumps, flips and wheelies. You can zip through brand-new tracks and arenas, and also tour classic courses from Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Mario Kart: Double Dash and Mario Kart DS. There are even options for trying all-new motorbikes that have their own special tricks and techniques. The action gets fast, furious and funny when you race in Mario Kart Wii.

Overall, there isn't much wrong with Mario Kart Wii. It is an excellent game that will keep you glued to the Wii for hours. There is a variety of game play for both single and multiplayer modes. Having unlockables keeps the game exciting and new while giving you goals to aim for. The online play is neat. You can play against others from the same region or around the world and even just against your friends. You can compete in tournaments to earn the fastest times in the world as well as see how you rank among others who have competed. All the new courses (available only on the Mario Kart Wii) add a new level of playing, making precision everything. Some of the older courses seen on older versions of Mario Kart seem a little more 2 dimentional and bland compared to the new courses, but don't let that discourage you from buying this game. If you can find it, which is hard to do right now, grab it immediately. You won't regret it.
What's great about it: Everything: unlockables, characters, new courses, online play
What's not so great: Some of the courses from previous Nintendo game consoles

The games featured in Game Party are not very fun or interesting to play. Skill ball can only be played with one player and half the time if you move the remote too quickly the ball falls back down the ramp. It is somewhat hard to control the puck for table hocky and many time you end up knocking the puck into your own goal. I found Ping Toss to be the most difficult game of the bunch. It is extremely hard to get the ball into the cup and it just becomes frustrating after awhile.
Overall, Game Party doesn't hold much substance. The idea behind it is simple, win tickets to unlock more characters, items and game varients, but that is as far as it goes. There are better multiplayer party games available.
What's great about it: Items, characters and game varients can be unlocked
