I've been playing this game for about a year now. I've heard that it can addictive so I do not allow myself to play for more than two hours at a time, or more than once per day. Anyway I'll just say it is so well polished. Everything works wonderfully, you can play with your friends or new people with ease. It is very easy to learn, and with all of the skills, talents, wealth, and abilities that you can learn your character will always be fun.
The in game world events are fun to watch and participate in. I highly recommend it. And the 15 bucks a month is a mega value for entertainment. Especially when you consider the price of a movie ticket.

I got this game for Christmas in 2006. It's an awesome platformer on the PSP and I'll say that this is the best game for the PSP ever! There are minor flaws like cheating CPUs, but this game is awesome overall!

If you own a PS3, buy this game if for no other reason than to show off the graphics. I showed this game to a friend who had never seen a PS3 before. His reaction was priceless. It's not just a pretty face, though. I love the premise of Motorstorm. You tear around Monument Valley in just about any off-road vehicle you can think of. I would've liked to have seen more tracks (the biggest complaint everyone has about Motorstorm) but the ones that are there are great and (for the most part) follow multiple paths. The game is tough (it is way too easy to explode), but the trick to completing it is finding the fastest line and race it every time (no matter what vehicle you're in). I was really disappointed when I completed Motorstorm, however. The credits roll and then... nothing. No bonus vehicle, no extra races. I know it's a 1st generation PS3 game, but c'mon, you gotta give me something. I'm giving this game 5 stars just because it's an absolute blast to play. I haven't had this much fun with a game in a long time. Some of the races are absolute chaos- you never know what you're going to see. Your opponents will run into each other, go flying off cliffs, and explode in high fashion. It's never scripted or staged, either. The AI in this game races like it wants to win. Online is tough, the gamers will run the fastest line and you'll never catch them. It's frustrating to know that you have no chance of winning 3 seconds into a race. Overall, it's a beautiful, challenging and slighty flawed game. I had a smile on my face the entire time.

If you like the Bionicle universe like our son does, this is a rather cool and intriguing game for the NOVICE Wii Player. You're placed into a world where you can walk around, turn, alternate weapons/tools to blast clues left as Bionicle pieces. It took about five minutes to get used to, then you really feel the sensation of running, looking, walking, switching weapons. It's cool. It shows off the hardware ability of the Wii to make it really easy for first-time users to play in a virtual environment.
There are no really fancy graphics. But, it does have creatures that my son built over the past few years since the Bionicle movies came out (1, 2, and 3). What it really underlines is this: how much more fun it is to INTERACT with a game, than to sit passively in front of movie he's seen a dozen times before.
Check it out. It doesn't have the fifty buck price tag of some of the other games. And, it will re-ignite your interest in Bionicles, Legos and, of course, LEGOLAND!

I have been playing the ATV series since the first one. This one has everything that you would need, and more. I love the new track editor, although it would have been nice to have more than one choice of scenery. However, the ability to create a track, and then race other people with it online makes for endless racing potential. The replayablity is huge. I could do without some of the cutscenes in the career mode, but overall this game is well worth the purchase. This one will stay in my collection!!

This is the first version of Tiger Woods I have played and for the most part I have loved playing the game; I really like the career mode and all of the equipment you can unlock by completing certain feats. The difficulty is easily adjustable so I can enjoy it and my nephews can too (without them getting frustrated.) The different golfers look, for the most part, like their true selves and the golf courses look great.
There are a few things that are really annoying though. Mainly, the crowd sometimes gets in the way of shots; if you are in the rough there are a lot of times where they just do not get out of the way and are in direct line for where you are hitting so you either have to take a route away from where you want to hit or drill it right into them (which is fun too since there are some funny animations for when you hit spectators.) I have also had problems where, for no apparent reason, the sound in the game will go out; this is the only game this has happened on and the only way to get sound back on is to quit the game and restart it (which wouldn't be so bad if you could save in the middle of a round.) And that brings up my last problem with the game; no saving in the middle of rounds.....not a game killer but it is annoying (edit: after thinking about this I can see why this is not included to prevent saves after every good hole; but it would be nice if you could save at the turn or something.)
Overall this a really good game with some minor annoyances; definitely recommended for the golf fan.

i've played all of the cod games. this one is just as good as the first 2 in terms of game play. great game concept and fun to play. but you can definately tell the game is simply a pc port. the graphics were not made for hdtv resolution. this game renders at 720p, although it says on the box it supports 1080i, which is most likely for tvs that only support that res as my tv supports all resolutions, but this game renders at 720p. in many cases the graphics look horrible especially the opening cut scenes. bleh. don't get me wrong 720p is fine for games. oblivion looks awesome at 720p. it's not the resolution of 720p that makes the detail in this game bad. it's that, although it reanders at 720p, the artwork that comprises he textures in the game were not designed at that res, so the game looks etchy and scratchy to the point of annoyment. great game though. i can't wait for games that are made specifically for the ps3 to finally be released later this fall although rfom is a true 1080p (desgined for 1080p and rendering at 1080p)

In a way, this is a typical dungeon crawl - start a level, kill everything, pick up loot. The difference is that you are on an alien-filled spaceship and your only companion is an indestructible floating robot that can shoot the creatures and (depending on what attachments you put on it) shoot them better, heal you or recharge your shield batteries. It can also destroy loot you don't want and manufacture stuff you do. (To replace the fact you can't go to the store to sell off stuff and buy more.)
There are 5 classes to choose from - 3 ranged (explosives, lasers, or fire) and 2 melee. All classes can wear basic armor and use basic melee skills. As you level up, you can choose to broaden your armor, melee, or ranged skills; self-heal or self-charge your batteries; increase your carrying capacity; or build your resistance to the 4 types of damage (fire, electricity, infection, or radiation). You receive 1 skill point per level, but as you get more points in a skill, the cost to raise that skill becomes higher, meaning you may need to save your skill points from level to level. You also receive 2 points per level to put into strength (increases melee damage and carrying capacity), dexterity (increases movement rate), accuracy (increases chance of critical hits and critical multiplier), and endurance (raises hit points as well as resistance to damage).
While most of the missions are hack-and-slash (a few timed), the layout of the floors vary, as do the monsters you meet. Add in a nice background story and this game will keep you playing well past your bedtime.

When Sega released their final video game console back in 1999, the Dreamcast, it really was groundbreaking and delivered so many wonderful video games. Although it was mainly overshadowed thanks to Sony's Playstation 2, there are still die hard fans of the franchises that were built upon the Dreamcasts legacy. One of those was the arcade smash Crazy Taxi. Although the video game was well-received in the arcades as well as on the Dreamcast, many gamers have felt the need to want to see it do more for other systems. Now for the first time, it has made its way to the handheld market, but does it keep the meter clicking, or is it just a franchise that runs out of gas?
Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars for the PSP, is the offical handheld debut of the overlooked franchise that Sega developed so well years ago. The gameplay follows in suit just like the other ones did, you are a wild taxi driver who has to try to score as many points possible, inorder to earn a licensed grade. As you guide your passengers to their destinations, you can also earn extra fares and time buy avoiding traffic, jumping ramps and finding shortcuts to their destination. The graphics are really crisp, and handle quite well on the PSP, but it just seems more like it is second nature with the controls for die hard fans and gamers who've played the series before. The challenge modes also work nicely, by bringing some added gameplay into the mix, but the soundtrack feels the same like it did before from the earlier games.
All in all, Crazy Taxi: Fare Wars isn't a bad game for those who haven't experienced the thrills of the chase, but it just isn't as much of a fan pleaser for those who've mastered the original versions before. I still often forget how wonderful the series was years ago, but I was hoping for something a little more to add to the challenge. I guess this one will leave no tip, until the next version can top this one.
