When I first saw the trailer for this movie I thought, while rolling my eyes: "Another over-the-top special effects movie with a weak plot." I couldn't have been more wrong. The plot has good depth without being convoluted or slow, meaning that it keeps you interested and engaged without putting you to sleep or confusing you.For me this movie is first a great dramatic retelling of true events and second a visual feast.
My five star rating doesn't come lightly. I am not one of these people that get on here and emotionally rate everything either 1 or 5 stars. I would probably give the movie 4.4 or 4.5 stars, but since that isn't an option I choose to round up.
