The game is incredible in almost every way, but not without some small flaws. The storyline flows very well and plays out like a dystopian sequel to Ayn Rand's novel Atlas Shrugged. Gameplay is very fun and the world of Rapture is detail rich and packed with things to explore. Your weapon set include standard pistols, grenade launchers, etc but the real fun is in the plasmids. These are genetic enhancements that give you superhuman powers. As mentioned, the game isn't as flawless as it's been hyped. Death gives you absolutely no penalty, making the game rather easy if you're willing to engage in a war of attrition with a big daddy, respawning as you defeat him bit by bit. There are also some widescreen display issues. I'm also not fond of the fact that it's been found that later on you'll be able to buy new plasmids on the Xbox Live Marketplace. I just don't like the idea for paying to unlock things on the disc I've already bought for $60.
