The third release of this lycanthropic teen thriller comes hot on the heels of Artisan's shameful Ginger Snaps disc and, surprisingly or not, is almost a direct copy of that pan-and-scan version. The video comes only in full-screen, and sound options are limited again to a simple 2.0 Dolby Digital track -- gone is the 1.85 widescreen image, along with any kind of full stereo sound the film deserves. The trailer is left intact, but with no chapters, scene selections, or even subtitles to choose from, you're faced with one cheap disc, which aside from the slight change of Ginger's (Katharine Isabelle) now goth look from Artisan's blatant hot chick advertising angle on the cover, is virtually the same release as before. If you're truly interested in the film, check out the Canada's Collector's Edition from Columbia/TriStar. Packed to the gills with extras and technically superior to both latter discs, it's really the only one worth checking out.

Though it is a low budget Canadian horror film, Ginger Snaps is surprisingly good. This film has good acting from relative unknowns and great writing. The plot itself seems typical at first, but if you pay attention you will most likely notice things that most other horror movies don't have. Definitely worth watching if you want to try a horror movie with something original to offer.

Project 86 takes it their music to a whole other level with this album. There are some styles that they hit that most die hard Project 86 fans may not like but the average person will appreciate. Project 86 hits on all cylinders and there are very few weak spots on this entire album.
