Must listen to cd

I had never heard of One eskimO before receiving a cd from the One2One Network. I liked it at first, but after listening to all the complexities a few times through, I LOVE IT!
It is a very unique sound with soft vocals and puts you in a reflective mood. I loved Kandi, Hometime, Amazing, and Chosen One. There is not a track that I do not enjoy and how often can you say that. After listening to it repeatedly, I wanted to find out more about this band I had never heard of before. Great back story and I hope you will check it out. Another interesting note: the band also animated their songs and I invite you to check it out. Really Great Stuff!
What's great about it: Unique sound with so many layers

Reminiscient of another time

This latest album of Michale Buble's takes me to an era where Frank was king. His sound is his own, but definitely reminds me of Sinatra. The quality of his voice is outstanding and my favorites are Georgia on My Mind and Crazy Love. This is something young and old will enjoy. The younger generation has discovered him and the older generation will be reminded of days gone by.
Great album, worth the $$$.
What's great about it: Easy listening for all
What's not so great: nothing

Love It!

I love it! Get ready to sit back and relax to an album which melts your cares away. I could listen to this forever and not get tired of it. I love Brandi's sound. She presents her wonderfully melodic voice with the pairing of outstanding instrumentation which equals a true listening pleasure. My favorite songs are "Looking Out" and Caroline which she does with Elton John on piano. This entire album is a wonderful treat and has a fresh sound to it. I recommend this album highly.
What's great about it: Wonderfully Unique Sound

Something surprisingly different

This is a departure from the Harry Connick Jr I usually hear. It is a much slower paced album than what he usually delivers. This CD has more of an easy listening vibe to it. My favorite song is "Who Can I Turn To?". If you are a fan, you won't want to miss this.

What's not so great: Sounds a bit the same

Birch belts a homerun in Bible Belt
on June 19, 2009

Birch offers an unique sound which is similar to some other artists, but she doesn't fit into just one type or specific artist. Her voice is a melodic trip with strength and character. I loved all the tracks, and it is hard to pick a favorite. It offers tracks which make you reflect (Fire Escape); if offers tracks which make your feet move (Valentino). All thirteen tracks are well worth the listen, again and again.
New Artist with lots of talent whom I hope from which we will be hearing a lot more.
What's great about it: Her voice is one that is hard to put into one category--it's bluesy, bluegrass, folksy style with a twist.

Great CD for everyone

I hope they are huge. This cd came to me from the One@One Network which is all about having fun! This cd does exactly that and more. There are a variety of sounds on the cd, but overall it is light and refreshing. It has a definite pop quality, and I love that my whole family can listen to it. It is still relevant without being objectionable---sometimes hard to find. My daughter (15) and I both enjoyed it. I love "Devastated"; it's catchy and you can't get it out of your mind.
All the sounds have something to offer for the listener. I recommend you go get your copy today and see what you think. I believe you will be surprised that they guys are not just handsome faces who can dance,,,,but they can really sing and write music!
What's great about it: Great cd with a variety of sound

Must Have!

The cd offers 17 tracks of pure listening pleasure. It is a wonderful mix of the old and the new. It gives you something familiar---Talking Heads/REM/The Black Crowes and maybe something a little less familiar-----Wilco/Tristan Prettyman.
I have to spotlight Erin McCarley who does a great job with "Love, Save the Empty". Another pleasant surprise is Scarlett Johansson who, by the way, can really sing! I have listened to it while working at home and have found it quite enjoyable. It makes me want to see the movie!
What's great about it: This Cd gives you variety, but not variety for variety sake. Variety you can listen to again and again.
What's not so great: There really aren't any. Surprise! Surprise!

AMAAAAZING!

You have not heard such a rendition of Amazing Grace. It is worth the cost of the CD. These individuals make listening to opera a joy regardless of whether you have been a fan. I encourage everyone to buy this album and judge it for themselves. It is something you will put in while doing something else, but it will force you to sit and listen.
What's great about it: The voices of these four men are outstanding.
What's not so great: Some of the arrangements seem a little contrived and unnatural.
