Crazy criminals run wild in Gotham City. Only two champions ~ Batman and Robin ~ step out of the shadows to defend the innocent. This time they're stepping out as LEGO characters, bringing the fun-filled colors and charm of LEGO to the action-packed thrills of Batman. Heroes, villains, vehicles and settings all come to life in the unique LEGO style. Prepare for crime-fighting in a whole new way as you head out as the Dynamic Duo.In LEGO Batman: The Videogame, you'll be able to build and control amazing vehicles, including the LEGO Batmobile, LEGO Batboat and LEGO Batwing. Play the game as Batman or his sidekick Robin, swooping through the streets of Gotham City to apprehend the Joker and other evildoers and return them to Arkham Asylum. For a change of pace, engage in a life of villainy as one of a multitude of sinister criminals, including Catwoman and Penguin, and defeat the Caped Crusader once and for all. Utilize exciting gadgets and weapons that are unique for each character. With LEGO Batman, the next exciting adventure is only a stackable block away.

If you played the other Lego games (Star Wars, Indiana Jones, etc) Then you should not have a problem getting the hang of this game. It plays relatively the same with a few new additions set for the Batman version. It's fun for the whole family to play. You can play as the heroes, Batman and Robin, or once you finish you can become the villains. The downside is the camera angles which counts for instant death and if you are playing with a second person you can run to the problem of not being able to move as far as you wish. Another downside is being able to see what you can destroy. At times you end up running around unable to move to the next area because of something so obscure. Also, using the Wii remote is hard at times but once you get use to it, it becomes easy. Still it is a good family friendly game that is sure to be fun. I definitely recommend it to young audiences and anyone who is a fan of legos or Batman!
What's great about it: Playing as Lego Batman, the cutscenes
What's not so great: Camera angles
I would recommend this to a friend!
