I don't know about this one...

I don't know what to say about this movie. I didn't really think that it would be worth seeing. The movie kind of throws together elements from many different, but pointless aspects of life and comes to the standard story book ending. Not really any twists or turns on this happy little love ride, it's a straight shooter to the end. I also had the feeling that the wife that dies, was kind of just a selfish jealous brat that was more concerned with the perfect wedding than the ones involved and would have jumped at anything that offered her a ring. Kind of ruined the movie for me. I wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone who asked.
What's not so great: Kind of hapless

P.S. I need a better intro.

This wasn't the best love story I've seen by any means, but it was pretty good. It would have had more of an impact if the beginning would have had more substance, maybe if you had more of a feel for their love. They were obviously meant to be together, but the way the intro suddenly jumps face first into the main plot of the movie is kind of okward. If you are a love story savant, I would suggest this movie, otherwise, not so sure I would.
What's great about it: A decent movie, Hilary Swank
What's not so great: Movie jumps in face first

The Book of Secrets

Have to agree with mostly every review on here. I haven't seem National Treasurer 1 yet, so it probably made this movie a little better, and I'm not a fan of Nicolas Cage, but it was a pretty entertaining flick.
Nicolas Cage plays a treasure hunter that is seeking to clear the name of his family by obtaining a piece of Jon Wilks Booth's diary. Good movie to see.
What's great about it: Entertaining Story Line
What's not so great: Nicolas Cage

Jump in to see this Film!

A good movie, really interesting plot that focuses centrally around a troubled kid, Hayden Christensen, that finds he can "Jump" or teleport to anyplace that he can imagine. Samuel L Jackson plays a hunter of these "Jumpers" he believes that only God should be able to be anywhere at anytime.
Very interesting movie, hope to see a sequel out soon!
What's great about it: Interesting Plot, Neat Elements
What's not so great: If there is no sequel I'll be kind of ticked!

RE Not Extinct Yet!

This is the third, and most likely not the final, release of the Resident Evil Series. While this movie offers a lot of action, it lacks in some what the previous movies had, all the suspense. By this movie, the intensity and helplessness from the Zombie race has all but faded. The main characters don't have the same rushed feel as before. Over all, I would recommend this movie, if you were a fan of the previous two that is.
What's great about it: Yet another interesting final "Boss" Character, Continues to deliver some twists and turns
What's not so great: Not Executed as Well as Possible...

Pop singer Mandy Moore stars in her first feature film, an adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' young love tearjerker, A Walk to Remember. The film is presented in its original anamorphic widescreen 2.35:1 aspect ratio with Dolby Digital 5.1 audio. Both English and French soundtrack options are available, along with English, French, and Spanish subtitles. Special features include two feature-length commentaries. The first is an amusing commentary by Shane West, Mandy Moore, and director Adam Shankman. The trio discusses cut material and gives entertaining insight into filming the movie in Dawson's Creek territory. The second commentary is a more serious narration by novelist Sparks and screenwriter Karen Janszen who talk about the differences between the book and the movie and the film's overall themes. Moore's "Cry" music video is included with the film's theatrical trailer and cast and crew filmographies. After listening to the first commentary, it becomes obvious that outtakes and deleted scenes should have been added to the disc, as they would've been a great addition to this too-sparse package.

A classic bad boy turned good type of movie with a kind of twist at the end. I enjoyed this movie, but if you are going to watch it, go with the girlfriend, she'll probably like it more.
What's great about it: Great Casting, Mandy Moore does excellent in this role...
What's not so great: Terrible Twist at the end...

Best Spiderman Movie!

This is a seriously awesome movie; even though it is more like three movies in one! There are so many different things going on throughout this movie that it's rediculous! Lots of actions and just as much of a story line, definitely a movie worth watching!
What's great about it: Visuals, Topher Grace actually pulls off a good Venom

The Ultimate Matrix Collection: Limited Edition compiles all three films in the series (The Matrix, The Matrix Reloaded, and The Matrix Revolutions), as well as the animated collection The Animatrix, which adds to the mythology of the films and makes some of the conversations in the second and third films easier to understand, and The Matrix Revisited. Also included are over 100 behind-the-scenes and making-of featurettes. The Limited Edition packaging contains an 80-page book about the films and a bust of Neo.

The Best Matrix Collection!
on October 29, 2007

This is the best Matrix collection I have seen as of yet! It has all the movies, even the cartoon version, the Animatix. The collectible figurine is kind of pointless but a must have for avid collectors. Does the Matrix have you, or do YOU have the Matrix?
What's great about it: 10 disc Set, Contains more than enough Matrix stuff for a life time!
What's not so great: Should have included all the games... I'm just being picky

Punk band Blink 182 offers up live footage and videos interspersed with their wacky antics on this DVD. The disc offers a standard full-frame transfer. The English soundtrack is rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are neither subtitles nor closed captions on this release. Supplemental materials include a photo gallery. There is little on this disc that would appeal to the average DVD consumer, but fans of the band will certainly enjoy it.

Sometimes Sequels are better!

This installment of the Urethra Chronicles contains a little more content than that of the first. Again it focuses primarily on the bands on/off-stage antics more than live concerts, leaving a hallow feeling of wanting some LIVE CONCERT ACTION! Don't expect to see an abundance of live playing on this, or any Blink release.
What's great about it: More footage than the original...
What's not so great: NOT ENOUGH LIVE ACTION!!!

The loveable, scantily clad rockers bring their humorously vulgar and juvenile antics to DVD in this collection of videos and goofy behind-the-scenes footage from MCA Home Video. Presented in standard 1.33:1 full-screen with an English Dolby Digital Stereo soundtrack, fans of the goofy rockers can witness their over-the-top antics as they hit the stage in some rousing performances, then follow them as they wreak havoc backstage, in the bathroom, and just about anywhere else.

Very Little of the live Performance...

This DVD contains a lot of music videos, but doesn't really satisfy your thirst for live action concerts though. The live performances on the album are pretty subpar, but it does highlight some of their stupidity and on-stage antics. I wouldn't suggest it unless you are a hard-core Blink fan.
What's great about it: A Bunch of Music Videos!
What's not so great: Very Little Live Footage

how to hook up my pc to play files on my media player through the reciever?

go to any store that sells component to 1/8 inch or 1/32 inch (whatever your computer sound hookup uses). In other words a red/white to 1/8 inch hookup.
-
Take the red/white part and hook it into any slot of your receiver (doesn't matter if it is labeled as DVD/VCR/CD/V-AUX, they'll all work), then hook the other end into your PC. When the corosponding channel is selected on your receiver, and the music is selected on your PC, the audio should be routed through your surround sound system.
