In this season we discover the real way tha Jared from Subway lost his weight, we get a terrible 80's montage in Aspen and we are introduced to Butters' alter ego, Professor Chaos! This is a great season with a couple of my personal favorite episodes! Definitely worth getting!

Oh, No...

This has to be the most disturbing season of South Park to this date. It offers us some heavier insight to Cartman's true evil in "Scott Tenorman Must Die" and continues to disgust us with "The Entity". We are introduced to a new character, Towelie, and some of our old favorites. This season is a must see for fans of South Park.

Paramount Home Entertainment has released its fourth box set of episodes from Comedy Central's gleefully tasteless animated series South Park, and while this set will doubtless please fans, it doesn't offer much in the way of bonus goodies. South Park: The Complete Fourth Season features 17 episodes from the show's fourth cycle, all formatted in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1; the transfers are sharp and clean, and it's nice to see the material without the all-too-familiar Comedy Central "watermark" in the lower right corner. The audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo, and the sound offers more punch than in its broadcast version. The episodes are in English, but feature no subtitles or alternate language options. The only notable bonus material on this collection are commentary tracks for each episode from series creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone, but for this set Parker and Stone have opted to offer what they call "fun-size commentaries," which last no more than five minutes at the opening of each episode. While they do offer some interesting and often funny anecdotes along the way (particularly in dealing with the network's concerns about handicapped character Timmy, who made his debut in season four, and their unusual down-to-the-wire working methods), generally they stop talking just as they've started to hit their stride, making the commentaries more than a bit frustrating. The only other bonus items are three short bits culled from Comedy Central shows, though this set does include the rare episode "Pip," an oddball adaptation of Charles Dickens' Great Expectations that rarely pops up in reruns and will be unfamiliar to many fans. South Park: The Complete Fourth Season certainly offers up this material in well-polished form, but unfortunately doesn't offer much else for fans looking for something more.

The foul-mouthed third graders of South Park, CO, are treated with respect in this DVD box set. The 17 episodes on South Park: The Complete Third Season have been transferred to disc in their original full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. The episodes are in English, with optional subtitles in English, French, and Spanish. As a bonus, each episode features a five to seven minute "mini-commentary" from series creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker.

In this season we get to see just what we expect from Trey and Matt... Complete idiocy with a touch of clever anticdotes! We get to meet the most annoying race of creatures in the world, two bullies try to fight it out for no reason, the loveable addition to the South Park gang, Mr Hankey and South Parks very own Pokemon rendition! A great season worth seeing!

This show just doesn't get old! The laughs and political incorrectness just keep coming. The characters are more developed and start to take on their own personalities more. Great season!"

The South Park animated television show has cultivated an enormous following, and this crudely funny and supremely foul-mouthed spin-off movie has been given competent if less than extravagant DVD treatment. The minimalist animation that is the trademark of South Park does not exemplify the wonders of DVD as well as the likes of Fantasia 2000, but South Park: Bigger, Longer & Uncut blends in some impressive CGI that really comes into its own in the smooth, anamorphic widescreen transfer. Sound-wise, there is a choice of Dolby 5.1 or Surround Sound, which ensures that the marvelous musical numbers (not to mention the expletives) can be heard in crystal clarity. Unfortunately there are few additional features of any note. The menu screen is amusing, and scene access is deftly handled, plus those of a hardy disposition may enjoy watching the film with the subtitles on (watch those obscenities roll by!). However, the trailers are of limited appeal, the teaser in particular suffering without the surprise element that made it funny in cinemas. Though a commentary would perhaps not have worked, a little background to the film would have been welcome, particularly given the involvement of George Clooney, Minnie Driver, and the rest. This DVD will probably be essential for most South Park fans, but it is still something of a missed opportunity.

A completely useless addition to an already pointless television show, but still, Absolutely Hilarious! You get to see the ultimate battle between Good and Evil, that's right, the US and Canada! You also see Kenny's face and hear him talk and he finaly actually dies! Not a bad movie, considering the fact it is still "South Park".

South Parks Intro Season!

This is the first release of South Park's reign of chaos and disturbing behavior. With the ever growing rate of horrible events and even worse people, South Park picks apart everyday life and sadly enough teaches us our ever important everyday morals... in their own special way. A great comedy, but not for those who are easily offended.

Todd McFarlane's acclaimed comic series comes to the screen in all its grim glory with this release featuring all 18 episodes of the animated series. Al Simmons (voice of Keith David) was a killer-for-hire under a government contract when he unexpectedly died in a fire and found himself in Hell. Desperate to see his wife again, Simmons made a deal with the Devil to lead his armies on Earth in exchange for spending time with the woman he loves. Now Simmons works in collusion with the horrific Clown (voice of Michael Nicolosi) as he struggles to do Satan's bidding while following his own agenda.

When I found this box set I couldn't believe it! I have been purchasing the episodes individually for $5.99 - $9.99. This is a messed up, but utterly beautiful work of art from the mind of Todd Mcfarlane! If you're into comic books or just awesome animated movies in general, this box is perfect for you!
What's great about it: All Episodes in One, Great Animation

how to hook up my pc to play files on my media player through the reciever?

go to any store that sells component to 1/8 inch or 1/32 inch (whatever your computer sound hookup uses). In other words a red/white to 1/8 inch hookup.
-
Take the red/white part and hook it into any slot of your receiver (doesn't matter if it is labeled as DVD/VCR/CD/V-AUX, they'll all work), then hook the other end into your PC. When the corosponding channel is selected on your receiver, and the music is selected on your PC, the audio should be routed through your surround sound system.
