From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes a thrilling battle between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. When their epic struggle comes to Earth, all that stands between the Decepticons and ultimate power is a clue held by young Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf). Unaware that he is mankind's last chance for survival, Sam and Bumblebee, his robot disguised as a car, are in a heart-pounding race against an enemy unlike anything anyone has seen before.

One of the best movies of the Year

I was more than suprised by this movie! I purchased it expecting very little, and came out very satisfied! The movie has a decent plot and delivers non-stop action while keeping it family friendly. People die, buildings collapse, and tears are shed, but there is little or no gore. The visuals in this movie are great and they don't "pull any punches" when it comes to keeping it realistic. I would recommend this movie more than most that I have viewed recently. Get this movie, I might even suggest getting one with the behind the scences extra disc. I usually do, but bought this one instead because of my low expectations, now I wish I had.
What's great about it: Animation is Amazing, Voice Acting is Good, Believable events for an Unbelievable Plot
What's not so great: The "Sector 7" People are cheesy and more like a comic relief
I would recommend this to a friend!

At least the acting was good...

This would be an alright movie to watch if you are bored on a Monday night, but if you are expecting a suspenseful thriller to gear you up for the Halloween season, this isn't it. "1408" has a fitting cast that deliver excellent performances, but their great acting doesn't really trump the poor scripting. Every time the movie gets interesting, it dies down again and hits some sort of dead end. You are just thrown into the main character's life and slowly figure out his past, but you don't really feel for him because it seems like the story is conceived as it goes; there should be a scene explaining his troubled past or something. Well, as to not ruin the movie for those who may enjoy it, I won't say any more, but I wouldn't necessarily recommend this film unless you've seen every other movie you wanted to.
What's great about it: Great Acting, Movie starts off Very interesting, movie stays interesting in a single scenary, not gory...
What's not so great: It's like you jump into the main character's life midway through, not that scary and not very much suspense

This show continues to deliver just what I expect from it! I never get sick of this show and it seems like I can sit and watch a whole season in a day; you just want to see what happens next! If you are a fan of actual comedies, there's no doubt in my mind that you will love this show!
What's great about it: Great Show, In-depth Characters, Episode deal with real life situations...

When a show can go for four seasons and still deliver the same fresh feeling as the first, you know it's doing something right. This season is just a build on the previous three. You can laugh, cry and just have a good time with this show, it's Amazing!
What's great about it: Amazing show.

The third season of Scrubs is just as good as the two previous ones. I absolutely love this show and it never disappoints when delivering class A comedy! I recommend watching the episodes in order to get the full effect of all the inside jokes though.
What's great about it: An excellent show...

Another great Season!

As everyone else here has said, this season of Scubs is just as good as the first, maybe better if you've followed the episodes in order (the characters are most definitely more developed). Great show, and most definitely another recommended buy, just get the first season before this one!
What's great about it: Continues to deliver the laughs!

John Dorian (Zach Braff) and a handful of other novice doctors deal with the often bizarrely comic but sometimes tragic events of life in an American hospital in this collection of episodes from the television series Scrubs. Scrubs: Season One is a four-DVD set which features all 24 episodes from the show's 2001-2002 season. All episodes have been transferred to disc in the full-frame aspect ratio of 1.33:1, and the audio has been mastered in Dolby Digital Stereo. Bonus materials include episode commentary tracks featuring members of the cast and series creator, Bill Lawrence; profiles of the players; outtakes and deleted scenes; an interview with leading man Zach Braff; a look at the making of the show; a music video for Lazlo Bane's song "Superman" (the theme song for the series); and more.

This is an awesome show, my favorite one on TV in fact! The cast is fitted perfectly for their roles, and they work with each other so well. One of the best comedies out there in my opinion! If you have the time and money to grab up this first season, don't hesitate for a minute!
What's great about it: Absolutely hilarious, great cast with real chemistry!

GTA: Overdone...
on October 17, 2007

I was a fan of the previously released GTA's, but I really can't get into this one much. It doesn't have the same in depth feel as the others. I have more fun just going on killing sprees than advancing in the game. You are just thrown into a poorly created story that doesn't develop throughout the game. You drive, you kill, you drive some more and then you get arrested. That sums it up.
Not really any worth-while improvements on the game. There is the ability to date, "tag" buildings and amp up your body, but these are just pointless features that add no real value to the game. The most shocking thing about it was the sub-par radio selection, this was just unacceptable from a GTA game! I was pretty disappointed with this new release, I wouldn't recommend it to GTA fans.
What's great about it: Long Game, Variety of Weapons and Vehicles, Great Graphics for size of map
What's not so great: Underdeveloped story, Disappointing Music Selection

VII

Definitely one of the toppers on my list of movies to see and own. One of the best animated movies of all time in my opinion; with the quality of graphics, there are times you'll forget that it is in fact animated!
I am a huge fan of Final Fantasy and the fact that it doesn't go off FFVII's actual story isn't that big of a deal to me. The creators made an equally interesting feature that I really enjoyed watching. If you aren't a Final Fantasy fanatic, you can also purchase just the movie by itself without all the collectables.
What's great about it: Beautiful Animation, Cool Story, Intense Final Fantasy Quality Action
What's not so great: Doesn't go off of Final Fantasy VII original storyline

Mel Gibson's Academy award-winning epic Braveheart comes to DVD in a fairly basic presentation that includes a widescreen, anamorphic transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 and Surround Audio, and a commentary by Gibson. A "making of" featurette and two theatrical trailers complete this adequate disc. With any luck, a deluxe version of the DVD will be released in the not too distant future; Braveheart deserves better.

Awesome Movie
on October 17, 2007

A great film, but not for the faint of heart, or stomach. Very violent at times, but as far as I'm concerned a must see film for any fan of medieval war movies. One of my personal top-ten movie choices. The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is the historical inaccuracies. The movie itself was magnificent.
What's great about it: Great Acting, In depth Story, Awesome Battle Scenes
What's not so great: Very Violen As to live up to the name of the previously released "Crafts", Wt, Strays from True story of William Wallace

how to hook up my pc to play files on my media player through the reciever?

go to any store that sells component to 1/8 inch or 1/32 inch (whatever your computer sound hookup uses). In other words a red/white to 1/8 inch hookup.
-
Take the red/white part and hook it into any slot of your receiver (doesn't matter if it is labeled as DVD/VCR/CD/V-AUX, they'll all work), then hook the other end into your PC. When the corosponding channel is selected on your receiver, and the music is selected on your PC, the audio should be routed through your surround sound system.
