Album Is Good
on September 15, 2008

The album has a lot of good production from Kanye, Maestro, Swizz Beatz, and Bangladesh just to name a few. The lyrics are good, but not the best I heard from him. Overall the album is very good, it is very commicalized, but I gotta say it's one of the best albums of 2008 so far. Very good work Wayne.
What's great about it: Can listen to the whole album without skipping one song
What's not so great: The lyrics aren't the best, but still good

Jay's Back

This album was surprising to me. After about 3 months of waiting for this album to drop, I finally got it and listened to it. I thought it was not going to be that good since Diddy's production group was doing most of the beats, but it turned out to be a good album. It all fits into the story of American Gangster and some of Scarface. Songs like American Dreamin', Success, and Fallin' go along with the movie. With songs like Roc Boys, Hello Brooklyn 2.0, and Igonorant, they are all very good to listen whenever with good beats and not too lyrical. Overall, the album is not as good as Reasonable Doubt, or The Blueprint, but it is up there probably in the 4th or 5th. Go and get it.
What's great about it: Good Lyrics, Good Beats
What's not so great: Nothing Groundbreaking

It's ok

Now I'm from Miami. I like Dj Khaled last album. It wasn't on my top 10 of the year albums, but it was good. Now this album is ok, not better than "Listennn... The Album". It does have a few songs like "I'm So Hood", "We Takin' Over", and "S On My Chest", but that's pretty much it. People like Akon, Lil' Wayne, T.I., Young Jeezy, and The Game show up on the album, but don't really get any good beats. Cool & Dre disappoint in this album. Danja and The Runners are the only producers that give the album good beats.

Another Classic

Ever since Common has teamed up with Kanye he has been giving us good music. The CHI-Town rapper does what he was expected out of him since he dropped a classic with the album "Be". The album "Finding Forever" is another classic. Songs like "The Game", "The People" and "Start The Show" make the album a must have in your CD collection. The nice thing about the album is that it has good beats from J Dilla, will.i.am., and of course, Kanye West. It's a good buy.

The King
on September 19, 2007

T.I. showed the people that he was the King of The South in "King" in this album he did good. I think he could do better, but with songs like "Big ... Poppin' (Do It)" and "Help Is Coming" are well produced and nice lyrics. Then you got the songs like "Raw" and "Show It To Me" Feat. Nelly where he tries, but disappoints. I got the album thinking it was going to be another "King" or even better, but he plays it safe and releases a good album.

Nice Beatz, No Lyrics
on September 19, 2007

Swizz Beatz has always been a producer of high caliber and always makes catchy beats. In his debut album as a rapper, he does so-so. His beats are pretty good. Songs like "It's Me..." and the remix are the best of the album. Then you got the songs like "Top Down" and "Money in The Bank" where he repeats the same over and over not that different then his whole album. He used some other producers on his album actually more than what he produced. I think it's ok buy if you buy it, I did. I'm not happy about it, but not mad about it either.

50 Curtis
on September 19, 2007

I bought this album with Graduation. I can't compare the two. They are two different types of music and production. 50's "Curtis" is of course never going to be like "Get Rich or Die Tryin'", but songs like "Man Down", "Fully Loaded Clip" and "Curtis 187" really bring out the rap that few have now. Singles like "I Get Money" and "Ayo Technology" Feat. Justin Timberlake, Timbaland have gotten radio stations spinning 50. If you don't like rap and 50's past albums don't buy it, but if you like a little bit of rap and 50 sometimes go get it because it's not going to disappoint.

He did it again...

Kanye West just keeps making good music. In this album he has a lot of expectations. He exceeds those expectations with singles like "Can't Tell Me Nothing" and "Stronger" that have that kind of cockyness that Kanye is known about. Other songs on the album like "Good Life" Feat. T-Pain and "Flashing Lights" pump up The College Dropout. Of course you cannot compare 50 Cent and Kanye West because they have different type of music. I bought both. I think that Kanye has that hip-hop/tecno and 50 is just rap. I would buy it, eyes closed.

Good Album

I bought it, didn't have to think twice. It's Chamillionaire. I heard it and it's good. This album didn't get any radio time like "The Sound of Revenge", but it should. Songs like Hip Hop Police, Evening News, and Industry Groupie have Chamillionaire like in his debut album. He also adds a little different type of music in "Rock Star" feat. Lil' Wayne which has a catchy beat. Also, no Parental Advisory. I don't really care about that, but I didn't notice until I looked at the album and payed attention. It's worth it.
