The Truth

This game is amazing. It surpasses any graphics I have seen yet on an aging console. The game is very well rounded. The vehicles, guns and storyline is amazing on this game. The game starts out very slow on campaign mode and will bore you sick for about 2 hours. Then the game will start to pickup and glue you to your seat. The AI can be crazy at times during campaign mode too but this is very minor. I saved the best for last. The multiplayer rocks. The game modes are awesome in this game. The weapon unlocks and upgrades are superb. The multiplayer is very fast paced and aggressive. If you buy this game you will not be disappointed.
What's great about it: Everything especially the multiplayer modes
What's not so great: a little slow to get going

SynopsisHome used to be where the heart was. America used to be free. Now, home is nothing but a bleak landscape of walled towns and abandoned suburbs, where high school stadiums have become detention centers and shopping malls shelter armored attack vehicles. Fear and despair have crept into the United States that you knew and loved. Worldwide conflict, dwindling resources and economic crisis have taken their toll; and now, in 2027, the savage, nuclear-armed Greater Korean Republic clenches the US in a brutal occupation. But the enemy forgot one little thing about the USA: they may have seized our land and weakened our state, but no one can weaken the spirit of the American people. Not since George Washington led the patriots in the Revolutionary War has America fought a battle so vital to the freedom of the nation and so close to the hearts of the people. Not since then have we had to band together to protect our Homefront. Take the front lines alongside the colorful characters of the Resistance as you employ daring guerrilla tactics, commandeer military vehicles and unleash epic warfare across sprawling battlefields with first-person sharpshooting action. The heart-pounding, hair-raising exhilaration of the struggle springs to life when you take the fight online and experience multiplayer infantry, helicopter and drone battles the likes of which you've never seen. Enter a ghost town where the residents have been relocated to nearby labor camps in the "Suburb" Xbox 360-exclusive multiplayer map. Featuring empty houses and buildings, this infantry- and drone-only map offers extensive cover locations while rooftops and tree houses make for ideal sniper locations. Mask your fear, take your weapon in hand and bear the title "American" with pride: this is the call to save your Homefront.

I have been waiting on this game all year. I know it is getting lots of bad reviews too. The problem here is people are so scared to get used to something different other than COD or Battlefield. This game is not that bad at all. In fact the multiplayer is really fun if the connection is decent. I have noticed it has its problems with lag and not being able to connect to servers and getting kicked out of games. They will iron out this problem and the multiplayer will be solid. I really enjoyed my online experience with this game when it worked correctly. The campaign does seem to be fairly short but still way above average. The story is good too if you take the time to listen to it. This is definitely no call of duty game but it's definitely worth a try. I think this game is alot like battlefield in many ways. The vehicles are not as bad as people are saying they are once you learn how to use them. I think this game will be a solid mp experience for anyone once all the bugs are worked out but until then it will just be mediocre.
What's great about it: The story. Multiplayer is fun when it works.
What's not so great: one time use Battle code/VIP code like EA for online multiplayer

Rock On.....

This series just keeps getting better. I love how you can always import your other track packs and games into the new ones that come out. The new line up of songs is definitely not as good as Rock Band 2 but you can still import them all so that's not an issue here. I love how you can play through your career in road challenges and you have so much different stuff to do to beat all the challenges. Each instrument has it's own challenges here which is cool. The game music quality is amazing with the dolby settings and bass boost features. The only thing i didn't like about this game is that you have to purchase the keyboard, pro drums and pro guitar to earn all the achievements. Very solid game though for the money.
What's great about it: Music Quality/Import features
What's not so great: Must have some pro instruments to get all the achievements

Best Halo Yet

I have to start out by saying this Halo game is probably the best spent 60 bucks you will spend on a game. The reason i say that is there is always something to do. Bungie updates this game with new daily and weekly challenges. The campaign is up to 4 player coop and is simply amazing. The achievements are all attainable with some time. I like Call of Duty online, Gears and Battlefield but i think this is the most well rounded multiplayer out there. I am not a big Halo fan. I am a much bigger Gears fan but i have to give credit where it is due. Halo Reach is an awesome game and has so many game modes to choose from. The fire fight and score attack modes are always a plus too. Everyone needs a solid Halo experience on their game rack. Very solid purchase.

Best Racing game period

This game is so much fun. You have two different campaigns in this game. One for the racer and one for the cops. The game can be very challenging at times to get gold medals on all the races. The online play is superb and the graphics are amazing. One cool thing is you can rank up your racers both offline and online. They work hand in hand. The only thing I could find wrong with this game was the EA VIP code thing for online play. If a friend wants to play it online he would have to purchase his own VIP code to even enter the online mode. This game will give you such an adrenaline rush you will not believe it. Outrunning cops and wrecking cars is so much fun. I can't stop playing this game. This is by far the best Need for Speed game yet.

What's not so great: VIP code for online access

Please don't buy into the hype of this game. If you do you will regret it. Once you beat the lousy campaign there really isn't anything else to do. The Echo mode is completely worthless. The Anarchy mode is kind of like horde but harder. You can't really do this with randoms or you will lose. The game has no co-op campaign or mp versus. Once you beat the campaign this game will gather dust till the gears beta comes out. Anyone out there giving this game 5 stars clearly hasn't played many games or you just don't care for mp. All the joking in this game and speech about certain things will grow old to you very quickly. I am very disappointed with this title and wish i had saved my money on it. The only way this game will sell enough to be successful is people wanting the gears beta. Not to mention the EA VIP code thing for online access. Please save yourself some heartache and leave this one on the shelf.
What's great about it: Gears 3 beta only

Lately i have found myself playing more rock band than GH games but i decided to pick this game up. Once i fired it up i realized the quest mode is pretty awesome. Gives you a short story with every character and something to work for. Me personally i love the music games. Rock band has always been better about giving you all of the music from the game before to insert into the new one. GH only gives you some tracks. You can insert GH Metallica into this game. Overall I think the quickplay challenge features and the quest modes are a step in the right direction. Come on Activision let us have everything we pay for and let us insert all of the songs of previous titles into our library of new games.
Either way i like the circles vs the squares and this is a solid game.
What's great about it: Quest mode.
What's not so great: nothing really. its pretty solid.

This game is much like fallout 3. I was just so glad to get back into this style RPG. I don't think anything on the market can touch a game like this. The weapon improvements and mods rock. The graphics are awesome and the story line is amazing. This is a must have for an RPG/Fallout fan. The name Fallout speaks for itself. Enough said.

This game is better than the original with more campaign missions, new characters and weapons. You can now use melee weapons like baseball bats, night stick, frying pan and others. If you get bored with that pick up a chain saw. The game has a new multiplayer mode called scavenge which rocks. If you love zombies and gore buy this game. It will make you happy that you did.

This game is a must buy for any music game fan. The graphics are amazing. The songs are great in this game. There's so much to buy and do on this game. I have played this game for two days straight since i bought it and simply can't get enough of it. I like it better than the original rock band or the beatles game. The notes being lego blocks makes it look even more realistic and in my opinion makes it easier to hit the notes. You definitely need this in your music collection of games.

Red Rings...

Lets see yesterday I turned on my xbox for like one min. and then accidently turned it off. So I turned it on again and I got 2 Red Rings. Does anyone know why this happend. I really doubt it's overheated. I play it like 3 times a week so it's not like im playing it consistently. Im not going to try the "towel trick" either because that just messes it up more. Any suggestion on what happened or any tips to make it better. Thanks!
As always in this case check to see if you have a cable unplugged and make sure your power brick is lighted up green when the xbox is on. If thats not the fix contact Microsoft. It could be hard-drive failure.

how can I fix an "unreadable disk"?

i have an xbox 360 and about 2 months ago i tried to play a game but when i put it on the disk tray and closed it, it showed a sign saying "unreadable disk" this message was displayed at the main screen of the xbox 360. i tried calling microsoft but they didnt really help me.
resurface the disk and try to play it again. If that don't work try another game to make sure it's not your disk drive. If that dont fix the problem replace the disk.
