Don't Buy

This movie seemed to have somewhat ripped off Lord of the Rings. The monsters' costumes looked really fake and battle scenes looked too fake where you can see people in the background wrestling more than fighting. Should have been a Sci-Fi Channel movie instead.

Great Acting Job

Daniel Day Lewis gives one of the best acting performances I have ever seen. The movie's plot itself is somewhat factual but leaves alot to be desired. If it wasn't for the great acting I would't recommend this.

Great Movie

This movie is filled with raw, crude humor which I happen to like. The acting is good and the story is all too real nowadays.

A Must for Any FPS Enthusiast
on April 22, 2008

This is the exact same game as the regular version with the only difference being the inclusion of 4 new multiplayer maps for online play. Single player mode is not affected. If you buy the new maps on the PSN you will pay $9.99 so this is a deal.
What's great about it: Online Play, New Maps Included
What's not so great: None

Based on the graphic novel by Frank Miller and Lynn Varley, 300 takes over the screen like an invading horde. With all the gushing blood of a horror movie and the scope of a classic epic, the second film from Zack Snyder (who helmed the 2004 remake of DAWN OF THE DEAD) is an impressive visual spectacle. Director Zack Snyder Star Gerard Butler, Tom Wisdom, Andrew Pleavin, Vincent Regan, Lena Headey, David Wenham, Special Features Widescreen Audio Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround - English, French, Spanish Subtitles - English, French, Spanish Additional Material Audio Commentary - Zack Snyder - Director; Kurt - Writer; Larry Fong - Director of Photography Trailer Runtime 116 minutes Year of 2007.

A new style of action hits the screens. Can't say enough about the visuals and action scenes. Not a thinker of a movie, but instead something to entertain the heck out of you.

I was never a Bond fan and I don't even know what compelled me to watch this but I'm glad I did. It is a new breed of Bond and was action from start to end.

Good Movie
on April 17, 2008

As a third and final chapter, this movie was overhyped. That said, it is still a good movie but not as great as it was made out to be. The first 2 movies were much better. You do get the story of what happened to him which is well worth watching it. Good but not great.

From director Michael Bay and executive producer Steven Spielberg comes a thrilling battle between the heroic Autobots and the evil Decepticons. When their epic struggle comes to Earth, all that stands between the Decepticons and ultimate power is a clue held by young Sam Witwicky (Shia LaBeouf). Unaware that he is mankind's last chance for survival, Sam and Bumblebee, his robot disguised as a car, are in a heart-pounding race against an enemy unlike anything anyone has seen before.

This largely passed by movie in the video store is one of those movies that come around once in a while. Samuel L. Jackson's performance is probably the best in his career. You won't regret getting this one.

Not sure if this movie was oscar worthy. The movie moves a little slow but the acting is good and you do keep interested in the story. Good movie, but not great.
What's great about it: Good Cast
What's not so great: A Little Slow
