Plays whatever it records, works perfectly for DVD+RW and all the rest. Don't waste your time and money with anything else before you try this machine. Very smooth. If it doesn't break, my twenty year dependence on VHS tapes is over.
What's great about it: easy to use - records beautifully
I would recommend this to a friend!

digital tuner
How come best Buy doesn't sell a DVD player with a digital tuner & why are manufactors not producing them with tuners ( Samsung, Sony, etc ) ???
Digital cable and satellite tuners make it unneccesary to include them in DVD players. You don't need a tuner in a DVD player because its already in your cable box or satellite receiver.
